Whatever, just wash your hands.
lets see, the main one that really stands out for me is Kings Bounty, soon as I played the demo I fell in love with the game.

Bayonetta has pretty much sold me on it, shadow complex sold me on the game... hmm cant really think of any other ones off hand, I guess plants vs zombies but Im not sure I played the demo of it.

I wouldn't say on impulse, but the Arkham Asylum demo convinced me to buy the game.
Same here, an' I do not regret it.

Crackdown. I couldn't buy it immediately, but when I did buy it. I played the shit out of that game.

On another note: From this point on I shall never play another demo again. I just play it and play it and play it, having no concrete source of income, I can't just go out and buy it. So usually the demos spoil the game for me. Like Crackdown for example, Overlord or UFC 2009. I'm not going to get that because I know I won't play it because I spoiled the game by overplaying the demo. The games that I have played the longest: Fable 2 and Rome: Total War, I never played any demos of them and I'm still playing one of them.

Quite a few xbox arcade games. Annoyingly I can't think of any examples off the top of my head.

Why would I be "admitting" a demo made me buy the full game? That's what demos are for, it's nothing to be ashamed about.

That said, they usually don't, unless the demo is made well and the game it's selling is actually good enough as to interest me. Say, a good Shareware app like Geneforge.

Red Faction: Guerilla
Sadly Ended up finding the demos multiplayer more enjoyable, at least to me.
