90 posts in, you should know to search before creating a topic.

http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.148462

Dated 9th of october!

OT= search through the 110 post long thread for my answer.

[small]And of course the complimentary Welcome to The Escapist[/small]
Sorry, never thought to look, even after 90 posts I am still learning. Besides some people do not think to check either so re-freshing this topic helps. I have noticed one guy say he found this thread and decided to do something he does not normally do, tell about himself. Just shows that yes there may have been a previous (slightly different from what I just read of the OP) thread but these guys either did not notice or did not care...

Thanks for the welcome though.

I know the title is a bit of a give away but damn this thread is depressing.

As for myself, peaks and troughs really. I have few and far between happy moments and the same for totally suicidal depressions. Majority of the time I feel so good I feel so numb yea. Think I'd be best described as devoid of that set of emotions for the most part which is worrying.

You'll soon learn, the first weeks are the hardest.

One other problem, and tip. Avoid using imperatives in topic threads.
[small]By the way, WHAT in the hell is your avatar?[/small]
One - what actually is an imperative (sorry I can be a bit dense for an 18yr old...)
Two - My avatar is a flop eared baby rabbit with it's head burrowed into it's owner (google, you make bunny cry lol)

Fifteen here, too, and I've sure gone through quite a few depression bits over the last couple years. It's not chronic, it's not long (never more than an evening/afternoon, usually). Generally revolves around: A) my horrifyingly large negative modifier in such skills as Speak with Girls and B) the fact that no matter how hard I try, the spell of the same name is frustratingly difficult to cast. :p

- A commanding word ( "Let out YOUR feelings") It's just a tad too confrontal.

- I thought it was....something i really shoul not delve into..!
lol... sorted out the title. Sorry I did not mean for it to be confrontational more just for others to realise it was not all about me or just about depression.
As for the baby bunny image. I have 2 at here at home. Sadly this laptop has no images so i picked the cutest one I could find on google that reminds me of my baby rabbits. Also as i mentioned on another thread, my boyfriend is almightwabbit so the images also represents him (his cuteness and dependancy lol)

Well that's symbolism!

You'll fit right in, just don't annoy the resident phsyco!
*gasp* Who might that be? You know, just incase I do say something stupid (like I love you...lol sorry I just had to do that song lyric when i said that)

Seriously though, who might the residant psycho be that I have to not annoy?

In a situation where seeing 2 steps ahead is nearly impossible and the consequences of doing somthing wrong are potentially life destroying for me and my entire family. Pretty good reason to be depressed... How do I cope? Obsessive gaming, drawing and wall staring.

:) Not healthy but...I really can't do much else at the moment... I get by and really I don't like venting to other people.

My mother is quite nuts. If it wasn't for her children, she'd probably have done something stupid a long time ago.

That isn't a high ego on my part. She really is bonkers.

Bonkers is a bit nasty to say unless you mean it in a funny way rather then she has mental or emotional issues. However my mum used to say I saved her life. She fell pregnant with me due to severe emotional downturn and if she had not found out she was pregnant she would have killed herself at that time.

I'm certain I'm pretty much over mine (what caused it in the first place I'll never say).

nowadays I sulk over my lack of employment. And silently laugh to myself the irony of when my friend said that this new president would make it rain jobs.

damn.it.all.
