My thoughts exactly. I don't care he's old, or if he's had a stroke. That is not how you pronounce the damn word!Letsrock456 said:DIABETES. DIABETES. DIABETES! NOT DIABEETUS! YOU STUPIDLY BALD MAN WHO THINKS HE CAN MAKE UP FOR HIS LOSS OF HAIR WITH A MOUSTACHE!.

I made em, just for special occasions like this. Would you like a crate? Last time I tried sending them, Fed-Ex had a fit. I think I can try using UPS this time, though.Letsrock456 said:My god, where the Deuce did you get badger-bats?
For some odd reason your avater seems as though it's having some sort of Diabetic attack not trying to be offensive it just remind me of watching someone go through oneLetsrock456 said:Hi all, just thought i'd depress you all with a rant about diabetes.
I have type 1 diabetes.
Type 1 Diabetes is when your pancreas stops producing a chemical called Insulin, which controls the blood sugar in your body, So thus you have to inject and check yourself quite a few times a day, because if you don't can lead to a Coma, or even worse... :S
I've had diabetes since i was 3, which means i've had it for a looooong time, and it does get Really.Really.Really annoying.
Take last night for example
I was staying at a friends house for tea and stuff, and before it was time to eat, i thought i'd better do my injection stuff, and then realised, i'd left it at home, which then resulted in me running home, grabbing it, running back, and by the time i was back, it was cold and i was getting dirty looks from everyone, including the dog.
ARGH.
Anyone else out there like me? or knows someone like me? or knows someone who sold a dog to someone like me? xD
Okay, it'll probably take about a week to get there, it'll probably smell pretty bad (I do need to put in a hunk of meat to feed them on the trip), and I highly advise you let them out slowly. And at about 7pm, so it's dark enough that they don't freak, but you can still see them easily enough. And if any neighborhood kids go missing, play innocent!Letsrock456 said:Wait, so a red critter, behind a pink stop sign, holding a pink !, is like a diabetic attack.
As previously stated.
WHAT THE DEUCE?
And yes, ill take a crate neon
Ummmm...what?jh322 said:DO WANT
Hooray indeed. I hadn't even heard of that combination before your first post. Double hooray: your first post was here! You get a special prize!OlddeyWaffles said:I have CF related diabetes. All the problems of CF, along with the problems of diabetes!
Hooray!
Why pity? The guy is set up so he can pretty much deal with anything that comes his way. Maybe a twisted view of his situation, but think about it. Compared to what he has to deal with on a daily basis, just about any kind of extra complication probably seems mild.Letsrock456 said::0
Dude, you have all of my pity, (the none-offensive kind of pity, not the "Ooh look a tramp" pity
Spot on! As others said before it can get me out of doing loads of things.Neonbob said:Why pity? The guy is set up so he can pretty much deal with anything that comes his way. I do appreciate the pity though![]()
Ditto. I also hope that when they do find a cure, that the major diabetes supply companies and whatnot don't try to withhold or delay it to save themselves.Stammer said:Diabetes scares me. It's actually the #1 reason I started working out. I couldn't imagine having to regulate my life so harshly. Though the diabetes you get from being obese isn't the same kind you're talking about.
My neighbour has like the most hardcore of hardcore diabetes. He has to give himself like 10 tests per day. He was born with it, too.
I feel for you, my friends. I hope they come up with a cure for it soon.
