Also, women have a higher pain tolerance than men, generally.
It's the opposite, except during pregnancy when women's pain tolerance skyrockets.

I would just like to comment on this. I'm pretty sure it has been proven that although women can multi task better both genders are still bad at it relative to doing 1 task at a time.
Pretty much. Multitasking shouldn't be done unless necessary, as the quality of your actions decrease by doing so. It's just that this decrease is a lot more visible with men, as our brains aren't as quick at jumping between activities.

Women live longer. That alone trumps anything that could be said.
Length of a life =/= quality of life. Yes, women generally live a little longer, but whether that's a good or a bad thing is up for debate.

Anyway, to answer your question OP: No. There are only a few significant differences between men and women and the other tiny nitpicks present on both sides are not even remotely important enough to justify choosing one gender as the superior one over the other.

I wouldn't say all periods are a big deal. Some people have it worse than others when it comes to periods.
Yeah, some people do get terrible ones. A friend of mine at school had terrible periods, and had to go on the pill quite early to calm them down.
I've been somewhat lucky in that regard (most birth control methods tend to stop my periods), but even people who are not so lucky do generally get used to it.

Somebody already quoted me on this and I said `oh alright then`. Read further before you quote.

but they get to live several years longer than men on average.
I think that has more to do with men generally being more rough on their bodies. Add on to the fact that in past generations men smoked, drank ect more than women did.

And besides I read a article that said the gap in shrinking more and more.

That's probably part of it, but testosterone/oestrogen levels are thought to cause at least some of it. Higher testosterone equals slightly shorter lifespan, last time I read about it.

Women are obviously more hardcore than us mere males.
Get back in the kitchen Daystar.
I can't.

I've been forbidden from entering the kitchen since the infamous chestnut bake off of '03.

Maybe.

But yeah now that men are smoking, drinking, and doing less dangerous jobs the life expectancy is getting closer and closer based on the studys that I've seen.

You can say that women have it worse, but no one can ever know anything different so its really quite impossible to tell. Also until recently, when we lived as animals in tribes and such, being the Alpha male was the singular drive of all male life and not achieving that was essentially total failure. Look at rejected male Buffalo and the depression they go into to get an idea of what it used to be like and look at the women, who dont really have the opportunity to face a life of complete failure. I dunnoim just sayin things havent been wuite as naturally easy for dudes, I cant know what its like for women so I cant comment.

I'm a bit unfortunate on that regard. Still on birth control and I black out on a regular basis. And the pain is a bit much.
And I think I have a decent tolerance for pain. Got a nail shoved into my foot and i just gasped a bit and was like, that hurt. That may have been because of shock though..

One of my closest friends is rather lucky. She has one day's worth of it. Then again, she has F size breasts and is only 5 foot 3. So a bit of a trade off.

The ability to give birth to life? Higher pain tolerance? Longer lifespans? Generally more intelligent? The ability to abuse double standards all day against men? Multiple orgasms!? (Although men can get those also with some practice)
I think they have it pretty good. Besides, it isn't a contest.

Wrong.

Barely, and the gap is getting smaller every day

Eh, I suppose.

OT: Men and Women are pretty darn similar. I don't think either of them are really disadvantaged.

The pill saved my life with periods. I initially went on it because there were days where I literally could not get out of bed because of the pain and I've never looked back.

I'd actually be scared to come off of it because I'd hate to have to relive 'real' periods. Now, I barely even notice them.

No, I wouldn't say so. Just because men are better at some things doesn't mean that women don't have the different advantages in other ways.

You rarely hear about women having a fetish for dressing up in "men's clothes"
That's because they get to wear them as standard without anyone batting an eyelid.
