Did she teleport?

Yesterday at 13 o'clock, my mum found a wallet on the metro in Brussels.
She took it back to her office and looked through it to find an ID so she could return it.
It belongs to this Polish girl, so she looked her up on FB and sent her a message saying:

"hey I found your wallet bla bla bla"

She then noticed this receipt...

How the hell, did she get from Poland ( some place nexto the border close to Romania/Hungary)
to Brussels in 4 hours? I checked the receipt, it's from a gas station by the motorway...
I also checked the flights... The earlyest possible one she could take was at 9:30. It's impossible considering the flight is at least 2:30 hours. Never mind the fact the wallet was in the center of town...

Okay it wouldn't be awesome for the lady who had her wallet pinched by poultry.

Krakow airport is on the A4 motorway not far from Mystowice, so its most likely that the person was a few minutes away from the airport. As to the 2:30 for a flight time, I flew from London in about 2:30 so Brussels should be should be shorter.

Private flight/helicopter maybe? There'd be less of a wait probably.

Also have you accounted for timezones, if they differ between those countries? You could always try googling the location of the place as well...

They are both in the same time zone, CET.

Krakow airport is on the A4 motorway not far from Mystowice, so its most likely that the person was a few minutes away from the airport. As to the 2:30 for a flight time, I flew from London in about 2:30 so Brussels should be should be shorter.

I checked the address and the closest airport was Krakaw, the flight was 2:30 hours I checked the website...

Yes the nearest Airport is John Paul II at Krakow. The is about 10 miles west of Krakow in the direction of Mystowice. Now I have flown to the airport from London in 2 and half hours. I have also flown to Brussels from the same London airport in about 50 minutes. Now by process of subtraction that gives a time around of 1:40. According to Ryanair, who fly from Krakow to Brussels the flight is 2 hours and takes off 10:20 and therefore land at 12:20 leaving 40 minutes.

OT: well 4 hours is plenty of time, to be honest. And I'm not sure how a flight from Poland to Brussels would take 2:30 hours - I take 3 hour fights for a lot more distance than that. I'm pretty sure it should be less

Well, maybe she uses the same technology that one of the guys that delivers pizza hut to my house, because I SWEAR they have some sort of time manipulation device or teleporter. When I order pizza and food and it is there in 15 mins, and considering the drive is at least 15 minutes, is borderline terrifying!

it took me about 1.5h to fly from Brussels to Dublin (not considering timezones), their airports are about 800km apart
Krakow and Brussels' airports are about 1100km apart. (both numbers courtesy of Google Earth) i don't know how airway-management works, but i guess depending on the routes and speeds allowed 2.5h sounds reasonable

if the owner of the wallet got real quick from wherever she got that ticket shown above from to Krakow airport, check in, fly, check out and get to whereever in Brussels she lost her wallet, it might just work
plus possibly an incorrect timestamp as mentioned above...
not necessarily time-travel worthy (plus Occam's razor) :'(

This is the most logical and likely answer. Therefore I distrust it completely.

Did your mother happen to notice a blue box about 2.5 meters tall with a flashing light on top near where she discovered the wallet? Or a lot of people running & screaming? Maybe something that looked like an oversized pepper-pot with a plumber's helper stuck on the front?

I also suspect that Daystar is trying to help cover-up as this is part of his plan to get parts for his army of
giant mechanical combat wombats.

I cant speak for poland, but public utility machines like this arent always known for being the most reliable and up to date things.

... besides, not to be rude, but it seems rude your mom would go through her wallet.

I'm not sure how long it would take to fly from Poland to Brussels but I'm sure 4 hours isn't THAT long. And if it is, have you considered that the Polish ticket has the wrong hour printed in it? Or, worst case scenario, your mother is playing you a practical joke?

Distance from Brussels to Warsaw is 720.72 miles. Average speed required to make the trip would be 180.18 MPH assuming 4 hours total is the travel time. Average commercial jet flies at 575.39 MPH or 9.58983333333 miles every minute. Dividing it back into the original distance 720.72/9.58983333333 gives us 75.1545907993 minutes as the total length of time it would take on average to fly that distance. 4 hours minus 1 hour and 15 minutes means that they have 2 hours and 45 minutes of fudge time for driving/walking/security checks. So your estimation of 2 and a half hours for the flight is way off.

They could easily have flown commercial, or private. Or they could have traveled by high speed rail, assuming there are bullet trains in eastern Europe. Or the time stamp the computer put on the receipt could be wrong. Or someone could create a fake receipt to screw with people.

Or we could just randomly jump to the conclusion that it's teleportation and not bother taking even a second to think about or look into the matter logically.
