Yep I spent a year of lurking before I dropped into the whole thing. This is the only website I feel is worth acquainting myself with.

i lurked for months before posting, im an extremely shy person to the point where i didnt even wanna post anything, after a while i just did,

i still lurk way more than i post tho..

I just always felt an extreme bout of laziness. I'd see that "register" button and groan. Then finally just kinda did it one day.

Me too. I picked up a little when I'd look at the odd thread after watching some videos, but it took me a while to actually bother doing it. I think I did it in the end just to do a quiz or something.

I didn't join for a really long time after I first found the site. I didn't even look at the forums. Then I started going through them and decided to join. Even after I joined I lurked for a while then just started posting.

It took me about 2 months of watching Zero Punctuation for me to make an account. So I made an account and jumped on the forums, and I'm still loving it here.

I came to watch only Zero Punctuation, and after a while I saw a thread that caught my eye and registered to join, then forgot that I registered while continuing to watch ZP and eventually decided to register (Again) but realised that I had already done so (By noticing my username was taken... who else would use it? ) and then started posting more and watching other shows.

I still mostly lurk, two and a half years since I joined. But yeah, I lurked for a while, a few months at least of watching videos and reading articles before signing up to take part in that year's March Mayhem.

I did, but only because I did not want to go through the hassle of setting up my account. I then, initially, started using my Fbook account, and finally after a good 6 months of courtship, decided to create my own.

You see the date under my name? Yeah, that's when I joined. The first time I posted something, on the other hand, was about a month ago. So that means I lurked for over a year after joining and I most likely did so before joining. I don't even remember why I joined back then.
Considering how much I post, you may even still consider me a lurker.

Not really. Maybe a couple of weeks before I joined, but in my first year I only wrote about 100 posts. I used to visit regularly and watch videos/ read news, but not really post in the forums. So I lurked after I joined. I only really filled out my profile when they started offering badges.
