Did you lurk before joining The Escapist?

g4 showed me zero punctuation then there were a buch of forums that I wanted to talk about. befor that I hung out on youtube back when they had these forum like things and was a lot better.

I watched Unforgotten Realms from until it started until some April. Throughout this time, I got into ZP, and eventually a thread's title got my attention. I hadn't really acknowledged the forums before that point, they were kind of a side-attraction to the videos for the me of many months ago (Off-topic, Me of Many Months Ago would make a kick-ass song title). I signed up so I could post on it, but my first post, an incredibly stupid one at that, wasn't even on that thread. But, yes, I did lurk around the site, just not the forums.

I lurked for a good year and a half before I decided to experiment with these "forums" that seem to be so popular. I haven't regretted jumping in. You miss so much by just lurking.

I just jumped right in to vote in MM. Then it turned out that I liked these forums so I stayed.

I did hang out at first. My friend introduced me to Unforgotten Realms, and the article of The Tao of Leveling, then to ZP.... Being part of an awesome community such as this is extremely unique, and so I joined.

Nope, i joined up the day i arrived(after watching all of the archive of ZP(to set the time that was around when the first Uncharted was reviewed so there wasn't much in the archive to watch)) due to a mix of boredom/interest and i have never regreted it. Hell, i even remember the thread. It was the Medevil/Fantasy battle RP(back when they allowed random fight RP's) made by Hazakura(it's gone now though).

I think I spent around two years lurking on the Escapist, mostly beacuse I initially only came to the website to watch Zero Punctuation. But after finding many of the topics to be really interesting and after the fuss that was March Mayhem 2009, I was finally prompted to register.
