I have now seen it THREE times. Not because I'm a huge Pilgrim fan (although don't get me wrong, I loved the movie and it's my favourite of its kind this year) but because I work in a cinema.
Movie theatre to you not from my country.
In fairness, though, I paid to see it twice in another cinema because it's just easier to get people to go to that one as it's closer for my friends who don't drive.
I was impressed that after three showings, it's still a lot of fun.
I don't agree with pirating a movie like this as it's got to make back its budget and unlike a huge blockbuster like, say, Transformers, the studios and directors willing to take on less mainstream stuff like Scott Pilgrim can be genuinely damaged by piracy.
Plus pirate copies are shit.
If you really care about the art form of cinema, then you'll get your ass to a cineplex, or an IMAX, or whatever and enjoy it on a huge screen the way it was meant to be enjoyed.
Like, as awesome as watching the Good, the Bad and the Ugly is on Blu-ray, nothing compares to a cinema screen where Clint Eastwood is twelve feet tall and the deserts seem to stretch on beyond your imagination.
