With that out of the way, I'd say pokemon or Bioshock (2K should quit while they're ahead).

Actually, I'm quite interested in what they're going to do with BS2. Truthfully? It worked for System Shock 2...could work for them if they keep carrying it in the right direction.

Now, to answer the main question: Sonic needs to stop being put out. Yes, they've taken a step in the right direction by not introducing a whole new cast every game, but I get the distinct feeling that Team Sonic has resigned themselves to making games to feed the people on the internet that draw smut of these sorts of things.

They remade Red and Blue,theyre called "Fire Red and Leaf Green" a few years ago.

Apparently theres gonna be a gold/silver re-make,which i do intently look forward to.

Yeah, I forgot about those two. Still, Silver, Crystal and Gold are my favorite. Just the right number of monsters, some nice options, atmosphere (yeah...) and it was quite long without the unnecessary fragments.

Sequels only exist because the 30s, 40s, 50s, and part of the 60s used up all the good ideas on the movie industry. We're out of unique...

I think that both of these franchises could be saved if they just go back to what made them successful in the first place. I just replayed FFVII and Sonic & Knuckles, and both are still great!
