Well now I'm in Silver I and about to spend the whole day getting to gold. But that aside, lets discuss strategy, what champions affect Team comp and what champions win games etc.

as far as team comps go, in low level games, having 2 tanky champs seems to be a pretty sure fire way of winning late game.

don't even get boots until you have at least tiamat
the damage is insane, as you can trap multiple people inside your ultimate and lifesteal off of almost an entire team if you do it right.
I don't bring flash because he has one built into his kit, and teleport allows you to gank through wards and counter aggression in lane, even just turning it on and then cancelling it when they back off has saved many laners on my team before
