To this day I still haven't noticed any black zombies. Are they hinding from me, or am I just not 'sensitive' enough to that sort of thing to notice them?Furburt said:The world would only be truly racially free if a film like this could be released without people even talking about it. Why should there be a fuss? It's a film set in the South, like anywhere, it has black people there. It's the same people who kicked up a fuss when they heard that there was black zombies in L4D2.
Oh god, that pissed me the hell off.Furburt said:The world would only be truly racially free if a film like this could be released without people even talking about it. Why should there be a fuss? As a black man let me tell you, don't listen to he racist blacks. I like killing black people as much as I like killing white people......err......zombies....in games...you get what I mean.Vanguard_Ex said:Oh god, that pissed me the hell off.Furburt said:The world would only be truly racially free if a film like this could be released without people even talking about it. There are infected black people, therefore it is racist...so, it would be less racist to have every single human in the game white? Makes sense.
I agree. Its like the Resident Evil series. I admit I've not played RE5, which is the one people complain about, but throughout the series, haven't the zombies been caucasian (sp?), spanish/mexican and indian? And its a Japanese game. Maybe RE5 is racist (Yatzee seems to think so), as I say, I havn't played it. I hadn't heard of the fuss with L4D2. You can't have games like those fifty cent whatever-it-was skull games and then complain about a few black zombies in with the hoardes.Vanguard_Ex said:Oh god, that pissed me the hell off.Furburt said:The world would only be truly racially free if a film like this could be released without people even talking about it. ... Its 'the Princess and the Frog', which I'm pretty sure it a Grimm tale, or something similar, but it is european. I guess they've put an american spin on it. Or something. The Unskilled78 said:As long as it's not a black girl inserted into a European fairy-tale (as most Disney movies are) in the intrests of tokenism, I don't really care.

It's this whole mentality of being so insanely careful not to step on anyone's toes. Because in the western society we assume every game of ours comes from the west, any unsavoury depiction of other races MUST be racism. Because as we all know, there are no other people on the globe beyond Germany.Eekaida said:I agree. Its like the Resident Evil series.
