Get appendicitis, it'll give you some prespective on the pain scale.
Seriously, the night before I went into hospital was the longest, most painful night I have ever experienced.
Get a testicle infection. That is true pain. And emabarrasing at the same time.

Of course, my female friends would argue about period pains, but they're never going to have a hideously inflamed testicle, and then have to walk with it to the hospital. And then get starved all day in case you need an op.

Ok, that one gave me a little bit of the 'could be worse' perspective, it must've felt great when sorted out though?

It was wonderful to be able to walk without nearly collapsing on every step. Plus that and it was my birthday on the day I was in hospital, so when I had the next few days off school I could play on my shiney new DS in peace.

If you're old enough to drink, or have cool parents, then whiskey might be a good idea, but don't try and play a game after.

Me? Weed? Never! I prefer a more mature smoking experience

It's crossed my mind (I'm old enough though do have cool parents), not sure that it'd be wise to mix booze and copious amounts of painkillers though.

Get a hammer and thoroughly beat your bad arm.

The pain of your arm will offset the pain of your gums.

Alternatively, sleeping pills, pain pills, and alcohol work nicely. Careful with the doses, or else you'll die.

Get one of your pain pills, grind it up into a fine powder and apply it to the painful area.

In my experience that works better than just swallowing a pill.

Peroxide.

Yes, I'm serious.

Mix up a little peroxide with an equal amount of water, and wash your mouth with it for about 30 seconds. It helps soothe the pain and will help with the infection.
