Right, so first off, have a peak at this.

Are you interested? Do you think this could be better than GH? If not why not?

I'm personaly not interested, the only DJs i've EVER liked are daft punk, so the music doesn't really appeal to me at all. I get the feeling that pretty soon there'll be a rockband rip off, then a multiplayer version, and oh look it's GH all over again. But i would like to know everyones feelings toward DJH, i mean it, even if you don't have a lot to say.

Jot down what you'd like to see, what might make you buy it. Or, if you've already made up your mind about it, whether or not you'll buy this game.

I want it soo badly. I prefer the music, it;s a completely new playing style and even though it is just a cheap attempt to bring more money in, I think this could be the next big thing. However, I probably won't buy it becuase it costs so much.

Looks like fun and could be a laugh at a party or with friends. Simple party game which appeals to people who like dance music etc.

Its just another party game. Quite interested in it but not enough to buy it.

I think, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Meaning, don't make threads about how you dislike a single game. It's fucking annoying.

I don't see the problem, as long as it appeals to someone out there. I'm pretty darn bored of my little plastic guitar, so maybe one day I'll give it a try. I think the fact I don't really know anything about the DJ scene might make it a little more interesting. That said, I have no immediate need to own this game...

This is a summary of my feelings.

Wanna complain about milking a series? End the production of FIFA, Madden, NHL, NBA, NCAA, and all those other sports games before even thinking about bashing the "Hero" franchise.

C'mon now, be reasonable. Without vapid hate this forums would loose roughly %63 of all discussion.

I also find your post amusingly hypocritical, and thank you for the smile.

It's ok to express negativity so long as it's done in a way that provokes friendly discussion.

I want to get it. The soundtrack is pretty good, and I like rhythm/music games.

Also, I don't think that's expert difficulty: expert difficulty makes you scratch in specific directions, if I recall correctly.

It looks cool, but there's no way I could justify the cost...Gamespot says it's way too expensive, but otherwise really really good.

I don't like the type of music, although I think this will be good for the people who enjoy that kind of music.

I myself dislike Guitar Hero/Rock Band because I don't like their music either, and I wouldn't want to play on a really tiny plastic guitar...
Nothing will make me want to buy a music game unless I'm the one choosing the music, but that said, I have my guitar and I can learn most of the songs I want, and that's more fun to me.

It is an attempt to bring in some money, I see nothing wrong with that. Gaming is a business and that's what's businesses do. They have families to feed and themselves to take care of as well.

I have a friend who mixes beats, and I know I'll never have the rythym, so it looks fun. Of course, thats the same theory they sold behind guitar hero, but thats different. guitar it just takes time and practice. being a DJ requires sort of a special skill. so ive been told.

Looks good, but can they really justify the price for the deck?
It's a bit of plastic with some electronic gubbins...

Personally it's quite naf. It is a nice change from rock but not my kind of music overall

I wouldn't exactly call it a completely new playing style; Beatmania's been doing roughly the same thing for years. DJ Hero is just a logical continuation of the "cash in on concepts that people outside of Japan rarely see" genre and I can't wait to see when Pop'n Hero shows up.

That said I'd totally play it for the music.

I don't care for the music or game and, I've never wanted to be a disc jockey. Even if I was a disc jockey, I would have to be put on between midnight and dawn due to the fact that I would play nothing but metal and hard rock, throwing in some electronica to screw with my listeners heads.

I would rather be a shock-jock like Howard Stern. Bring on the game where I convince barely legal women to shoot ping-pong balls out various orifices of theirs at the local special needs man-child not-so-fabulous cash and prizes!
