It must do because 1 time when when I was playing Unreal Tournament 2004 with a friend 1-1 he completely and utterly kicked my arse 15-0 and just to add insult to injury, after the match he admitted to having a few pints! LOL!

One thing about playing console games and drinking beer has to be pointed out: it's a real challenge to drink with both your hands occupied. It's possible, and quite managable if you have beer cans, they're easy to operate only with your mouth.
" words dude, beer hat.

Small amount of alchol + cod4 = winning combo, but the problem is theres a knife edge peak between improvement due to not being able to focus on anything bar the screen, and losing all focus what so ever.

I don't think that would be a good idea. If you're like me, and everybody is, you have bad days and good days(i'm speaking about online games); if you're having a bad day, I don't want booze in my system to make go over the edge and throw my 360 controller at my $800 flat-screen TV in a rage.

Any driving game if you're wasted. It mixes the hilarity of crashing with being drunk, and you can't lose your licence or hurt anyone doing it on a game :) well, not IRL.....

Also COD games are ace drunk. Ever played Explosives and knives only on Shipment? Or Crossfire? How about pistols and knives only on Dome? It's immense :D

Strangely enough, Madden works well with alcohol. I don't usually play but Madden is the only game my roomie will play for some reason, so every few nights we play a game and I'll have a couple of beers to end my night well. The funny thing is; he kicks my ass nearly every time we play. However, the last two times that I actually got a bit drunk, I absolutely routed him I'm not sure why.

It improves my sniper ability in Gears. I'm too twitchy to get it right otherwise.

Everything else it just screws up royally.

It takes getting drunk to the point of not being able to string together coherent sentences to make me enjoy Oblivion, and when it all clicks it's a beautifu, beautiful thing, so thank you alcohol, for making me go "CAWWW" every time my character jumps and throwing shadowfax off cliffs repeatedly.

Otherwise, **** drinking and playing games. Getting high and playing GTA Vice City on the other hand, is something else.. :D

I always feel like a better drummer in RockBand after a few margaritas or sangrias or whatever drinks. Drinking also makes me get even more insanely competitive than normal at PerfectDark64.
Even if booze makes me suck more, I enjoy the game more.

I would have to say that drinking doesn't mix well with games that requite precision; it does mix well if the game is being played with a group of friends who are preferably drinking as much or more than you. I guess certain single-player games may be prone to alcohol-induced hilarity, but I've always gone for multi-player games when booze is involved.

I found it makes you better at some games, such as FPSs because it makes you completly unpredictable.
For exemple,if an enemy fires at you by surprise, any sober player will take cover.
A drunk guy might turn around and empty his magazine as much as he can sprint towards the enemy holding a live grenade.

However,in RPGs....
"Oh shit, that mob is really beating me up,lemme hit my health potion hotkey...
let's see...there...Crap,that was the aggro skill."

Drinking + gaming mixes...sort of. I mean...L4D VS mode is vastly improved when everyones drunk because you dont care about how buggy that game really is (I made a L4D drinking game which works with VS mode it rules). It also gives the Nintendo Wii a chance to shine (by Nintendo Wii I mean Wii sports. I maintain that game was developed by people who enjoy drinking games)

lol, I dunno if being intoxicated helps, but I know its a lot of fun!

In WoW, my guild does Drunk Raids on weekends, where we do all the old Vanilla and Burning Crusade raids while becoming intoxicated. Starting off isn't fun, but around midnight is when things start to skew.

Last weekend, I couldn't remember why my warrior had a tier 1 mage head, tier 2 druid shoulders and tier 2 hunter pants in their bag, and I was in the middle of Dalaran with no clothes on holding a 5 pound fish in one hand, and a bouqet of roses in the other. o_O
That sounds just like in the real world. Except you don't find a tatoo on your penis.

Guitar Hero becomes a good drinking game.
A shot for every note missed.
You must be better at Guitar Hero than I am. If I did that, I'd be through the bottle by the end of 1 song!
