Do we really need a Fable 3?

I know it's been announced already, but i can't help but feel the series is really stagnating. The first was great, the second was bleh, i can't help but feel the third will be even more monotonous. Hell, once you can raise a family and own all of Albion(?)what else can you possibly do? Not only that, but the way you interacted with villagers was deathly shallow and dull too... At least the dog was one neat addition.

We can only wait and see, since it's already in the works. I really don't think that the third game will be better, but if Lionhead does what they said at some convention (don't remember which one) then I believe that it could be good...but then again; it could be how we first saw Fable 2, and look how that turned out.

It's just so damn hard to not listen to Peter Molyneux...

To be honest, of the the Halo/Gears of war/Sonic 648231billion a Fable sequel is one of the only sequels I will actually buy.

I enjoyed the first two Fables. Sure, the second one was not as good as the first, but it was by no means a bad game. I like the storyline and can see a lot of potential for the series. It is exceedingly possible that the third game could be awesome.

We ended up with Halo 3 when that series was well and truly dead as well as MGS 4, DMC 4. So yeah. Why not have Fable 3.

No. We don't need any of them. Some of them are pretty fucking awesome though, so while we may not need any sequels, until the game actually comes out, as always, you should probably wait before judging it.

The ability to conquer the towns and do all the other jazz in Fable just made it all so dull, because there was no depth in anything. It was spread so thin you could see right through it at points. I prefer games like Oblivion which allow you to do less, but you can toy with the mechanics to do so much more~ Plus it was more fun killing people.
Fable probably shouldn't have existed period, just because it was always kinda...well...rubbish.

Fable 2 however did have casual appeal written all over it. And since many gamers are mindnumbed casual idiots. Yeah we need fable 3

We gave them a chance with Fable II and it sucked. I'll judge a game by it's predecessors before it comes out. Or maybe Molyneux can have his company actually make something revolutionary already like he's been saying for almost a decade now. Him trying to be the U.K.'s Will Wright is really getting old.
