Fable needs to die, for people that ask the question "Should there be a Fable III?" I pose this question to you. Does the pope shit in the woods? =P

Why does Fable need to die, exactly?

Do you have to buy it?

No, you don't.

Give the game a chance before you judge it.
Do they have to make it?

No, they don't.

We gave them a chance with Fable II and it sucked. I'll judge a game by it's predecessors before it comes out. Or maybe Molyneux can have his company actually make something revolutionary already like he's been saying for almost a decade now. Him trying to be the U.K.'s Will Wright is really getting old.
If you were in charge of Lionhead, would you pass on the opportunity to cash in a huge amount of money, and try to make a great game in the process? I don't think so.

Molyneux is a man of visions and he has a lot og enthusiasm, and I greatly respect him because of that. Sure, the Fable series hasn't been revolutionary thus far, and the next one probably won't be either, but how about stop complaining and find a game you like instead?

Whining on future releases based on previous titles is, in my opinion, stupid. I like to try them out for myself instead of following the crowd around.

Bottom line, though, is that you're perfectly entitled to your own opinion, just as I've expressed mine on this matter. If you judge games like that, fine; don't buy it. You might be missing out on something good now and then, however.
I'd like to stress that I don't mean to be condescending towards you if my reply sounds somewhat negative.

I would say Yes, because I"m curious of this whole King/Queen ruler thing and plus there's always some thing to like about the story.

I don't think we needed a Fable II. And, judging by how that game played out, we didn't.

So yeah, fuck Fable III

Fable ended for me with Fable: TLC since they never put Fable 2 on the PC and I don't have an xbox 360. So as far as I'm concerned Peter Molyneux can suck it

Not especially. But then, there's nothing saying we don't need one either. I might take a glance at it when it comes out, IF they find a more imaginative name than Fable III. Gah, at least add a subtitle or something. Though for the life of me, I can't see them being able to expand on much gameplay.

Once Mr. Molyneux has overhyped as much as he can I'll dribble and go into hibernation until it's released, until then no.

I liked loved Fable 2.

We I need it.
I agree with this.
(Fable was far better than anything Bioware has put together I found).
I won't go that far. I enjoy Fable 2 more than any Bioware game EXCEPT for Jade Empire.

Because PM has the Tony Hawk Syndrome, I think hes taking the Tony Hawk approach to this.

The Tony Hawk Syndrome:
-You made one good game and you think your idea could be better displayed
in a sequal backed by people only interested in money.

The Tony Hawk Approach:
Bury Your inadequacy to make a complete sequal and an onslaught of other sequals
that slowly introduce small new ideas into the world while pissing off your fan-base
of the original until there is so much of your content out in the world that
people just generally wait a few years to buy your latest ($60) patch.

Soon Fable's hero will be able to get off of his board and walk around!
Soon Fable's hero can tag walls and even customize his own shirts and board!

lol.

I did actually enjoy fable 2.. It was far from what I expected and I did find the story way to short..

But I thought the combat worked.. and well I had fun killing everyone :)

So.. Im looking forward to seeing if they have changed any of the bad to some good

you know.. The benefit of the doubt :)

Didn't we have this same argument 15 years ago when Seinfeld was on TV. "It's a show about nothing? Why should I watch it?" Fine, don't watch it. No one is forcing you to. It's the same concept. Didn't like Fable 2? Then don't buy Fable 3. I liked Fable 2, so I will get Fable 3.

By the way, you can hate on Fable 2 all you want, but it still won a bunch of awards and received high praise from all the video game experts at G4 and IGN. You didn't like it? That's fine, but it did not suck, you just have weird taste.
