Unless they fix like every god damn problem in the game I don't want them to make another one. It runs like shit, it looks pretty ugly and combat feels extremely laggy to me.

We don't need it, but it'll be nice to have.

Never tried fable 2 to be honest (Don't touch xbox's, don;t want to), but the first one was very, very fun, despite complete linearity i enjoyed it alot more than most other games ive played o_O

Fable 2 was a JOKE.
Fable 2 however did have casual appeal written all over it. And since many gamers are mindnumbed casual idiots. Yeah we need fable 3
Who the fuck do you think you are? No seriously, who the fuck do you think you are?

I guess by "mindnumbed casual idiots" you include yourself in this statement. I am so sick of people like you who think they are better than everyone else because they like a game you don't. Heck, liking anything you don't.

I hate you and I hate people like you.

Fable was fun. That's all it ever was. Some will agree, some will disagree, but calling others idiots because you don;t agree is by far the most trollish thing I can think of. You sir are a troll by every definition of the word. I bet you wouldn't even say that shit to my face because people like you are only strong when they are behind the keyboard.

Like everyone else has said...do we need sequels at all? Did we need 5 halo games? Did we need 2 Uncharted games? Did we need so many Resident Evil games? Did we need so many Metal Gear Solid games? Of course not.

However, a fan base is not of people who sit here and are "mind-numbed" as you say. The true fans of games don't play a game series because of its graphics or what system it is on. They don;t play it because it is popular or it is trend. Some play it because it brings them enjoyment no matter how popular something is.

If you really cannot see that. If you really cannot see why people enjoy something, then maybe it is not them who are "mind-numb," it is you.

Respect. If you give it, you will receive it. You deserve none so I will treat like the low-life you are and any opinions you give are from this point on are null-in void. You don't have to agree with my opinions, but that gives you no right to sit here and insult everyone because you are insecure about yourself.

Just keep this in mind, if you have ever played a game or watched a movie and desired a sequel to it, then you I guess you are as simple minded as the rest of us.

Horrible casual mindnumbing game = horrible casual mindnumbing game.
It had no depth. It was Peter M. Spouting around how great this game was going to be and all we got was casual fest.
Equipment had no depth at all. You had like three different weapons, some a bit slower/stronger than the other. There were like five materials, each stronger than the other.
Gold that accumulated while you were not playing, hell i was rich already, but the crappy equipment/enhancement system had nothing i wanted to buy.
Armors were a joke as well.
Your dog was an idiot who kept diggin up crap.
Items were a horrible blur of useless things. Only thing to use is rhubarb to get thin again. Imagine that only eating rhubarb.
It was short. Do the intro, Get three team mates, do a little dance, save the world.
The weapon enhancement system was nothing more than put one of these three stones in your weapon.
The magic was overpowered.

It was as easy and casual as a game can be. And if this is the direction games are going to then yeah i hate the people who support it.
But i love you man, here have a huggle.

I liked loved Fable 2.

We I need it.
I agree with this.
(Fable was far better than anything Bioware has put together I found).
Apparently someone just loves the mediocre. How you could prefer a completely linear RPG with no real role-playing elements in it over a customizable epic-story sandbox is beyond me.

I guess some people are just special like that, though.
Yeah, I don't know why people like Bioware games either.

After the hype of the first Fable and its utter disappointment I found myself suckered into believing the sequel was going to be better. Alas, I was wrong. So, as far as Fable III is concerned, I am avoiding all contact with that game. I'm not reading articles, watching clips or interviews and have chosen the path of apathy as opposed to getting once again suckered into buying a a title best left alone to die. Not unlike grandma in the nursing home.

I think the game you're looking for is Fable 2. The stupid hype was all the media or Microsoft, not Lionhead. Stupid people that don't look shit up always claim it's different.

OT; I'd love a Fable 3. I'm a big fan of the previous installments, so why not? It could be really cool with Natal and all as well.
I thought they took out the STDs, the divorce settlements, the polygamy, all the giant freedom that Molyneux himself spoke of?

The STDs are there, you are able to have more than one wife and the giant freedom is there. I have never gotten divorced, so I wouldn't know about that one though.
Well, alright then. Thanks for clearing that up, and sorry for my confusion.

This excellent 4 part analysis [http://www.shamusyoung.com/twentysidedtale/?p=2105] of exactly why the plot of Fable II is really awful is, I submit, excellent evidence that we don't need Fable III.

I loved Fable II, and I would love Fable III, not convinced about the Natal thing though.

You know, I liked Fable 2 quite a bit.

Not as epic as the first game, but it had its own merits.

It just seemed a bit rushed. The game barely had an ending, and the game doesn't really get any harder or different.

A fable styled MMO probably would work better with Fable 2's engine, (obviously it would need a lot of tweeking a re-design, but the foundation is there).

I do look forward to Fable 3. Hopefully it will be as good as its hype will eventually gather.

Maybe if they make fable 3 like actually difficult, I will get it. Fable 2 wasn't bad but at the same time it was pretty bland game play.
