Do you buy games you don't have consoles for?

I buy old games for consoles I plan on getting or if its just cool to have (Shaq-fu) but thats about it.

Yes, so far I've bought 3 360 games and 3 PS3 games. But I can borrow my brother's PS3 and I'm ging to buy a 360.

I did buy a wired 360 controller, though I don't own a 360. I use it for my computer as a controller (since pretty much every GFW game supports it well)

Yes. I have a copy of Sonic two for the Sega Genesis (I've never owned a Genesis, the oldest console I have is the N64). I don't know how I got it, where I go it it, when I got it, or why it has a sticker that says "Not for resale" on it, I just know I have it.

Why would I buy an entertainment product when I have absolutely zero hope of being entertained by it? It's like buying a ticket to a sporting event in another country. And I'm in jail.
