I am both fascinated by and afraid of death. It is an experience that, by definition, is almost impossible to learn about except by first-hand experience, and then it is virtually impossible to tell others of what you have (or have not) seen. What comes after death has been one of the greatest, most haunting questions faced by humanity, and I am no different. Personally, I'm really more afraid of pain than death, because pain hurts. Death is the cessation of hurting, and more or less everything else.
In short, I have much to do before I die, and have no wish to to do so any time soon, but when death comes, I look forward to seeing what lies on the other side.
