Do you fear death?

Well yeah its only rational to fear death, facing your own morality. I guess it is easier for those who have some sort of afterlife to believe in but I'm atheist and so believe that death is sort of the end of the road.

I believe that life is a cycle....life..death..rebirth. After losing so many friends at a young age, I cling to the fact that everything is in transition. I don't so much as fear what will happen to those I love following my death.

Not particularly. Everyone dies. Not everyone really lives. I don't like the idea of dying though.

I like to pretend that I do not fear death. My glass is always half empty and I have a dislike for mankind, and there are many things that the grave has for me that I would gladly go for, but when I am honest to myself I fear death.

What I fear most about it lies in my belief. I believe in an afterlife, but there is no way to tell if this afterlife exists. I dread and fear the day my life ends and just typing about it scares me, it's inevitable and it will last forever. I want to stay alive and I fear the idea of life ending for me.

it is not death that worries me, I have plans for that; I am only worried about my method of death (eg. the deaths i would fear include drowning, burning and malnourishment, but I am ok with bullet to the [insert vital organ here], natural causes, lethal injection etc.)

i'm slightly afraid of the process of dying e.g painful, long, possibly humiliating death, but not afraid of death itself.

I love the fact that, in my head, I read the topic of this thread with the voice of Davy Jones from POTC2.

Anyway, sort of. Like, I fear not being able to live fully before I die, but the whole "afterlife - will I be tortured forever in a pit of hell, etc" thing doesn't scare me.

I fear death. But not methods of dying, no no I fear that after life their will be nothing except a void, an emptiness, just nothing alone for all eternity. Yeah that's what I fear.
