Yes.
I have decided that there is nothing past this world.
It all just ends.
And then, in a few generations, everything about you is forgotten.
Even your direct descendants won't remember your name.
Thats why I decided I was going to be someone big.
I'm going to be a president, and I am going to either start or end a big war, or make first contact.
Something big. I want to be remembered thousands of years into the future.
Well good luck to you sir! First on the to do list, learn to write in proper sentences! ;D

OT: Yes, I do fear death because I do not think there is anything else after it... just darkness *shudders*

On topic, yes.

Yes I do fear death. I enjoy living and all the things that life has to offer, and do not like seeing others die or suffer in such a way.

Except in video games, for their lives do not matter.

Death is the one thing I dont fear, everything else I fear incredibly :\
That's... ironic. Although you do understand the purpose of fear is to keep you alive, so if you fear everything but death then - *head explodes*

just the thought of death freaks me out.
This. If I want to cry for acting purposes I just have to think about it happening and well, it works. A little too well.

I fear both dying and being dead. Dying because there is a good chance it will be alone in a hospital bed. Being dead because I don't believe in the afterlife and I don't want to not be around.

Only a death that is painful or upsetting in some way. I don't fear what happens afterwards, because I won't be able to experience it. I'll be dead. Yes, it's nothingness for all eternity, but you don't realize or comprehend it in any way. You're dead.

Yes. I start to panic if I think it about it too much.

Now if you'll excuse, I'll not be returning to this thread.

I don't fear my own death, only that of the ones I love.

Like most people, I like the whole living thing. However, death, in itself, is what life ends with. I don't fear death, for even if I die with regrets, that's how it goes. Time moves on, with, or without me, with, or without you.

I'm too busy to think of death. As a kid I thought about it alot though.

Some days even the most optimistic guy will see death as an exit, not as an end.

Our bodies our prisons for our souls. All flesh decays. Death turns all to ash, and thus death frees every soul.
So no, I do not fear death. I just want to go down fighting and not die of some lame sickness or of old age. Like the vikings believed : Fear of death profits man nothing. I always believe that when I die I will see all of my pets and relatives that have died already, so why would anyone be afraid of death as long as you have lived a good life?

Nope. It is inevitable and i can't do anything about it. Furthermore after i die i won't even be able to realize it, because i will be dead. There won't be me to feel the fear at all.

I used to not be, then I saw a play about the end of the universe and how a broken family was trying to deal with the unavoidable end and reconciling with each other etc.

It was just damn scary how total annihilation was upon them and little family feuds and arguments still mattered...

Needless to say, it reviled to me that I both did not want to die and had still a lot of things that I wanted to do and experience and give to the world.

Depends in what context. Like do I fear the inevitability that is my own death, no. But if a guy was holding a gun to my head, then fuck yes I'd be scared.

no, i dont fear death. for i know i will get another life, i just wont remember this one XD
-unless im lucky and all my 'me-bits' find the same hole to crawl intoXD ( something that needs a soul, such as a newborn baby!* )
*species optional

but i wouldent want to die now XD, so much to do, so much to explore, and it'd be a bit of a waste if a fridge dropped on me now and squashed me or something silly XD

also, in my family the males usualy get in their 80's somewhere, and then happily die in their sleep XD, so no worries.
