Do You fear the Banhammer?

I personally have no reason to fear a ban or getting the attention of the mods because I'm always careful of what I type, and not because of the consequences of what could happen if I wasn't careful, but because it's part of my personality.

Personally, I do. If I have a very strong view on something, I take a fair amount of time trying to create a post that won't get me in trouble, or I don't post at all. The reason I do this is because I like it here, and don't want to get kicked out.

But how about you? Do you fear the wrath of the mods?

After the mods turned and gave me probation for posting a picture as a joke to how someone worded something, I have stopped caring about playing mr "Reserved"

Do I check my posts? Yes. Primarily for typos. But sometimes I'll rephrase something that might be too offensive otherwise.
Do I fear the mods? Not really. Haven't been in any trouble yet.

Were I to get banned for something I wrote, then clearly the messageboards in question do not cater to my prefered kind of discussion and I wouldn't even bother trying to get back if that ever happened...

I don't because I try real hard to be polite... I also try not to post while drunk or overtired as it seems to blur my polite tendencies into my aggressive side and that becomes bad...


so no I do not fear it, as I am unlikely to be hit by it, and really if I am struck down, then how could I stop it. providing I stay polite and respectful it shouldn't happen.

But do i fear "The Banhammer"? No,i do not. I do not fear the system,i don't care if it represses me. Sometimes,stating my position is more important than my life,so why should i care about my membership here?

In real life I like to make friendly digs and general mischievous banter. But on the internet everything is taken too seriously and deemed flaming/trolling.

You don't realise how many people set them themselves up for it everyday.

So I keep to rather the rather dull side of myself. Posting boring opinions and one liners.

Oh if I only I could express my true posting self!!

I always say what I think, I may occasionally sand the edges to make it more polite for the sake of not provoking JUST flame in an answer(I love an argument, and the way people take things personally sometimes just frustrates me and takes away from their point). I've been banned occasionally from forums and servers by calling admins/moderators out on stupid decisions, thread closing, other bans, their opinions etc, lol. Sure I'd prefer not to get banned, but I prefer it over shutting up and letting these things pass.
