Something I've always wondered, do you ever feel older on a birthday? Or...different somehow?
'Tis my 18th today, and I havn't really felt different in the past, but I do feel older today. Probably to do with all the things I'm allowed to do now.

But yeah, interesting question?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Not really, though I might do once I turn 18, like you. I know I have to start remembering a new number for how old I am, that's it really.

Happy birthday.
I didn't physically feel different, but I felt special when they ID'd me straight away and I showed them it and got served. That's what happens when you look 13.
Me and a few friends went to Weathersppons a few weeks ago, I was the youngest at 18 and the bar maid asked for our ID. Handed it over with a smug smile :)

Hmm, not particarly. Occasionally though, I'll think to myself "Wow, I'm in my twenties, and I'm a total manchild."

Happy 18th birthday. :)

I guess I only cared about my birthday when I was younger, because to me it marked another year of growing up.

I don't usually feel any different after a birthday. Just slightly more wealthy. Maybe I'll feel different when I'm older? Although I think I will feel kind of special after I turn 16. I can get my Learner's license!

Haha, I know the feeling, I look about 12 myself, so I'm looking forward to tonight.

Happy Birthday to you!

I never feel any different, if I look back at photos form my last Brithday I realise the change but not over night! I feel more mature in some respects as I would be respected more, just with an extra number to may age!

Happy birthday!
You don't feel different really, you eventually develop a superiority complex over people you don't know who are under 18 though.
Well that's what happened to me anyway. It's kind of a 'haha I win' kind of thing.

Happy Birthday.

I didn't feel any different on my 18th although before I prayed I didn't get ID'd and now that I am 18, I am offended that I get ID'd. That is the only change.

I felt a profound sense of despair the day I turned 30, but that had less to do with aging and more to do with "shit, this is NOT how I planned things in life! How the fuck did this happen?" I damn near killed myself.

Then I got a divorce and went back to college. Now 33, I'm feeling MUCH better about things.

When I was younger, I did feel older every passing birthday. But the last couple of years my sense of "aging" has been more of gradual climb than sudden bursts of elderness. I think.

I remember last birthday I was so strung out on mood-altering drugs (for bipolar disorder, may I add) that for some days I couldn't reme, ber how old I was and kept swearing that I had just turned 22, when I had really turned 23.

Yep... somewhere in my mind I had lost an entire year. Now if I could only have picked the one I would never have to remember again...
