Well, sometimes in fighting games I'll absolutely destroy someone the first round so I'll go easy on them in the second. But usually I realise that they will drop me as soon as I let up.

It's online multiplayer, not real life. Be ready to take people out or leave. A few betrayals/teamkills may be necessary.

I hate when you get killed, and you know it was an amazing kill. I'm always like "Lucky sonofabitch!"

I admit that I have felt bad when killing people in games once or twice but never in multiplayer.
if I kill someone I smile as I get another point. if I snipe the enemy advance I become rather happy. if I kill someone over and over (and possibly tee-bag him) I am filled with joy. and if I get a stylish (embarrassing/humiliating for the other player also works) kill I snicker too myself in glee.
the swedish expression: den enda sanna glädjen är skadeglädje or the only true joy is malicious joy comes to mind

If they are a level 1 newbie in COD then yeah, but at least by watching your killcam you'll be teaching them a trick or two.
Real men play Hardcore difficulty. Killcams are for pussies.
I prefer to assert my masculinity with my missus rather than in an online digital sausage-fest, thank you very much.
Burn.
Indeed.

It's not like I feel this way all the time, just for when you feel like you completely wasted them spawn after spawn.
You know the kills right before they cap, the kill steals in free for all. The overpowered weapon kills. (Seriously who puts quad damage in a game of capture the flag?)
