Bears, I think I may have a shot of survival with a bear, Not a shark, due to the fact I can't swim.

Sharks. All you have to do is lie still and they'll leave you alone. Or you can punch or poke them and they'll quit biting. There's no dissuading a bear. If that thing is hungry, he's probably going to eat you. All of you. Also, there's no outrunning a bear, people.

Bears will attack you for the hell of it, sharks would at least kill you quickly. So sharks.

Bears, as if I'm face to face with one I'm on land. If I'm near a shark I'm in water and humans are not built for water.

They totally are
(types "Are pandas bears" into google)

Yep they totally are, apperently some people think they are raccoons. Though personally they look more like a bear to me, you know, with them being fucking bear shaped and all :D
First line on the wikipedia panda article:
"The Giant Panda is a bear."
I'd be more safer around a bear I think. I'm Finnish afterall, so I can wrestle them down, and I'm used to being around them, as they populate the streets at night.

I'm talking Great White/Tiger/Bull sharks. And Grizzly or Kodiak Bears. Any Brown Bear really.
Brown bears and grizzly bears are the same species they just grow larger inland due to diet.

Tiger sharks, Great Whites, and Bull sharks are different species with wildly different diets and temperaments. Great Whites might actually be the least of your worries on this list, while bull sharks (which can live in fresh water) are probably the most dangerous animal on this list.

Bears. They are more predictable. Plus a bear might actually stop trying to kill you once you lie on the ground. In contrast a shark won't stop once you start bleeding. His friends will come instead to join the meal.

Sharks. I just have to get out of the water to flee from a shark. As opposed to a bear wherein I'd be screwed if it took a liking to my "flavor".

What do you mean "just"? When you spot a shark underwater, it has observed you for many minutes already. If it then decides to attack (which is the scenario), there is absolutely no way you can make it out of the water in time except if you are diving with a strained bungee cord attached to your body at all times.

And about being a good/bad swimmer/runner: It does not matter whatsoever. A bear is so much faster than you, no matter how good an athlete you are and no matter what the terrain. And a shark is many times faster than you can ever hope to swim. In both cases, moving as fast as you can is a very bad idea that will propably get you killed.

Sharks will kill you if you look or act like a seal. Or a dolphin. Or a redfish. or a red snapper. Or a grouper. Or a trout. Or a sting ray. Or a yellow snapper. Or a trigger fish. Or a ling (delicious, delicious ling). Or a squid.

Well, I didn't want anyone to feel excluded. Also I forgot about polar bears.

definitely feeling safer around the sharks. Grizzly bears will attack without provocation, were as sharks generally only attack when hungry. Either way though i'm screwed.

And black bears (including all the various sub species and closely related species).

Black Bears are nothing to worry about they usually only get to a couple hundred pounds where Polar bears regularly top 900lbs.
