Do You Have Constant Reload Syndrome?

i reload after every kill, every encounter, even when i misfire and only lose one shot... which gets me killed alot because i use the slowest weapons with the most ammo of all time, and somehow i always run out of ammo anyways

i've stopped doing that now since i started playing as a medic on BFBC2 (like 5 second reload time) but before that and when i play any other class/game i reload when i stop firing, sometimes i'll shoot at a guy, duck and reload after using 1/6th of my clip, then finish him off.

Depends on the weapon. Hell no if I'm using a light machine gun, every time for pistols and snipers, and for assault rifles if I'm down to half a clip.

I reload whenever there's enough time to do so without getting mauled/perforated/etc. ESPECIALLY if I'm currently using an automatic.

When it comes to RPGs yes!!!! I always want to create the perfect playthrough (especially with Mass Effect, Dragon Age, and Fallout3) I find myself constantly reloading to save one person, make this choice, and oh crap I dont like that outcome.

Haha I believe you misunderstood the question. But I do the same thing as you. It is a habit from the days of choose your own adventure: always keep your finger on the original page, that way it does not count when you screw up royally! =P

OP: I am constantly reloading! In my experience it saves my life more often than not.

I reload pretty much any time I stop firing.
It's the main reason why I don't use LMGs in MW2, I'd spend half the goddamn match just reloading.

Not after every kill, but if the screen is clear of enemies for about half a second, it's reloading time! Especially on Gears for the damage boost.

Hey, I've been playing shooters for about ten years now, and I noticed I reload after almost every kill, which is a problem sometimes. So I was wondering, does anyone else do this?
If not, what habit do you have when gaming? From clicking the analog stick, to gunning the engine in racers.

When i first played cod i never reloaded. My friend who "tutored" me on how to be good at cod (which did work btw, i am pretty decent now) always yelled RELOAD MIDDLE OF SCREEN NOW! whenever i missed a reload with few bullets left which , when trying to concentrate, put me on edge a lot. Now i reload every time by sheer instinct, like after every kill.

Two things.

1) I've learnt this "reloading technique" since GoldenEye. i always reload after every kill. If I'm playing Call of Duty, I reload after every kill, but if someone is shooting me while reloading, I run away to either reload cancel, or reload in safety.

Yeah do it all the time in mw2 except it ends up screwing you up sometimes when someone kills you when your reloading.

I always reload. Always. Even when I get guns that have large ammo capacities, I will reload my clip of 100 shots after having fired 10 (which makes games that give you clips and not a bullet count EVILLL).

Also, I save. A lot. Any time I really can, especially in games like the Tales series that gives you specific locations in which you can save. I'll even save multiple times in a row, unconvinced that my data really has been saved xD

I always reload when its safe. Unfortuantely, I turn my crosshair and see the wall that used to be there gone, and my UMP useless against tanks. I just CHARGE!

I always reload after a kill. But I'm training myself to reload whenever smart. I had like an almost full clip and I reloaded and someone killed me.
