Mmm. Always. When I first started shooters I ALWAYS ran out of bullets. So, I started reloading more often. Now it's a habit i can't get rid of. After a kill or my target escapes, my finger inches towards the 'R' button.

Depends on my weapon, if it has a quick reload time then yes, if not switch to my secondary, pistol/rpg,(depends on flavour of the month) if not then no, I just steal some other chumps M60 and carry on.

I cant stop reloading after shooting o_O also that constant saving every 2 minutes syndrome that i get in rpg's is irritating.

I thought this was to do with reloading saves, but I totally have this. On the one level it has practical value but on another level, I just love the reloading sound effect =P On just about any game. That's why I hate "infinite ammo-no reload" unlocks. to me there's nothing more badass than unloading several tons of ammo on a room and then calmly reloading when everything is dead.

I do it all the time, as soon as I've cleaned out a room, or am hiding after killing someone.

Yes, I suppose it comes from my Competition experiences. You see in Compeition the standard routine after each fight/encounter is to heal yourself with health packs then reload your gun to ensure you are ready for the next fight.

The key is knowing the right time to reload, In emergencies the best thing to do is to use your remaining rounds then switch to your pistol.

I suffer from acute reloaditis. But it's not a deadly disease most of the time. I seem to die far more often whenever I say "You know what, you don't NEED to reload just this once" - and then run out of bullets in the next fight.

Having said that, MW2 is my drug right now, and though Sleight of Hand mitigates the problem, you can die so quickly in this game that I think a bit more about my reloading. Some guns have a far greater capacity than they strictly need for an emergency kill (the TAR, as an AR example), and some have obscenely long reload times (like the 10 second long RPD). Funnily enough the RPD and TAR are my favourite guns, and they're making my reload instincts much smarter. They both have longish reload times (relative to their type) and a fairly large clip; you don't reload either unless you're safe or need the bullets ASAP.

i reload ALL THE TIME. Note: ALL. THE. TIME. I don't want to though, cos i like my numbers to be even, e.g total number being 500, rather than some shitty number like 512, does anyone get me?
Nothing nags me more than having 17 bullets left. Nothing.

I'm more likely to die in a firefight due to reloading than running out of ammo in my clip.
Yesterday in BC2 I never reloaded until the clip ran out, and went on a killing spree for about 5 minutes ( I didn't know the kill streak but by the end of the game I was 50/25 K/D, and I usually finish negative) so I'm now trying to train myself out of constant reloading now.

I'm a chronic reloader, someimes finding myself reloading half way through a shoot out. Usually not an issue until i run around a corner mid reload only to met with a face full of lead!

I always reload. Which always helps me except for when I don't notice that I actually have a machine gun and so i reload anyways and it takes forever!

Yeah, even at times where I KNOW it's not necessary.
Counter-Strike at school:
14 people, I'm alive, so's a camper on the other team.
I've just taken out his friend, and I compulsively reload to get back the 2 bullets I spent.

I''ll occasionally do it after 1 bullet's been spent.

Can't help myself. I was stung early but not having enough bullets left in the clip to kill off another person so now just constantly reload!
