If I don't lose the rest of the clip then yes, I just can't stand a half-empty clip, it keeps nagging at me like I'm doing it wrong. I guess I have some mental issues. :p

Amen to that. A full clip: Don't leave home without it.

Yeah, I believe I've had the tendency to reload whenever I had the chance. Oh, ever play an arcade shooter, you know, one of those with a light gun controller? And you have to shoot off-screen to reload? (So the Time Crisis games don't apply here) You ever use your other hand to cover the light gun's muzzle briefly so you could reload while keeping your gun pointed at the target? I've seen a couple people do that. I've done it myself but never mastered it. What about you?

its a must. you have to be constantly reloading in FPSs or else you may run out of bullets right before a kill. the key is knowing when and where to reload. a full clip is always better than a half empty(or is it half full?) clip.

haha, yes and ohh yes, if i´m playing css, even if i just shoot 3 or 4 rounds when killing someone, i must reload. it´s funny how often you panic spray someone and always get them with the last bullet in your clip, what if you had not reloaded? you would be killed haha

I don't even think about reloading, it's instinct, my conscious thought process is NOT to reload.

Playing COD4 I might as well just have a 10 round magazine I reload so often. but games like TF2 it is usually an absolute necessity due to how fast paced the game can be and how most weapons have a small capacity and a single-round reload like reload one shot-shell/rocket/grenade-round at a time. So the incentive after only firing a round or two is to reload and not to wait till your magazine is spent.

Yep, which can be a bit of a hassle when you have a slow reloading weapon, which I often find myself with.

Oh yes. I reload after every kill, which tends to get me killed.
Yeah, I have this problem.

Playing as medic in Bad Company 2 will quickly cure you.

Yup

Got the auto-reload feature on TF2 running, though it slows down my rate of fire with the spy's revolver (the animation is so sudden and quick that it interjects between consecutive shots)

I do it all the time. Especially in modern warfare 2, that's where I noticed it. Thankfully Infinity Ward put the sleight of hand perk in, or I would have died many more times. In games like Halo, The original Call of duty, or any shooter game, it's a major problem and I usually get messed up bad.

Me too, sometimes it kills me sometimes it nets me a double kill others it makes me stay alive and keep killing. Not a bad habit in my opinion. Better to reload and live than to be lazy and die. Ok sometimes you die because of it but usually it's worth it.
