Not too much reloading, just reloading enough to be ready at all times. For example in LFD2 if you don't have a full clip for a charger a lot of damage can happen

You know you have it bad when you're watching someone play Halo and you're driven insane when they don't reload a half empty smg clip...

It's on and off for me. Often I'll forget to reload half a clip, but if I empty into someone, I immediately reload.

I do, however reload after every sniper kill, which is less of a problem.

Sure do.

Reload after every encounter, and you will live past the next.

..Most of the time.
Well i was was going to post this but SOMEONE had to read my mind ¬.¬

It's because we're the same person. I'm you, but from the future.

It's a little something like this. Only we're nowhere near this cool.

I reload after every kill because, hell, why not? It means you have more ammo for the next encounter, and it doesn't take that long. However, with LMGs, I only reload when I have less than 30 shots left, mainly because they take so long reload anyway.

Bloody thing gets me killed every time. The worst thing is when you run out of ammo in your secondary and the guy's still standing. It takes 10 minutes to pull a pin on a grenade.

Ive been trying to cut back on reactive reloading because Ive been killed a few times because I reloaded immediately instead of shooting the other guy standing next to the first one.

I only reload after my kills because I simply HATE it when I'm in a firefight shooting at somebody and then suddenly I run out of bullets and die soon afterwards.

I reload if no one's shooting at me. I'll waste a whole clip and pull out the next gun and waste that, until I either have no one shooting at me or I'm in a safe are where I can't be shot.

Yeah, I do this. I also click the left analog stick repeatedly, because that sometimes makes a character sprint. I also check my map way too often in Fallout 3 and Oblivion.

I've gotten good at only needing to reload when low on ammo in safe circumstances. I don't need to reload after every kill.

im pretty sure i do it because of the old socom games because i hated running into people with a few rounds so after id kill someone id swap mags til i got to the one with the most rounds in it and then id go from there, in most games now all i do is tap a button after i get my points and then im ready to go

Oh yes, the reload-syndrome is a killer. It's beneficial if you're using a gun with a small clip that can reload fast, but if you're using a light machine gun or something, it's just terrible.
