I'd like it if it were co-created by the director of the LOTR trilogy and the creator of Ocarina of Time. I think that, if done right, it would be an amazing movie.

But so help me...if I hear Michael Cera's name connected to Link...

If they were to make a movie on this game it should use cel animation, just another name for traditional animation, and have great voice actors. I honestly can't see a live action film working out too great.

i seem to be hearing that alot but in my mind i think...if you are gonna make an animated movie you might as well pool all the cutscenes together.

No thanks. Not fond of the crappiness trend in video game movies. Zelda's fine as a gaming experience.

I bet it could do well as an animated movie about a boy and his fairy going out and collecting magical stone #'s 1-3 that could actually work

No. I'm sure there must be some game, somewhere, that could make a good film but Zelda isn't it. Zelda doesn't really have much of a plot, it's just about finding your way through a cool area, fighting a big monster at the end, and then doing it again about five more times. That works as a game, but in a movie it would get really boring really fast. You couldn't take that away and leave anything that had the "feel" of the game because that IS the core of th experience.

Although ... I guess if it was more violent maybe Yoshiaki Kawajiri could do it, because that's basically the plot of most his movies ("wander through level, fight boss, repeat", I mean).

Whenever I think of a game related film, I see a white man dressed in baggy pants and speaking with a slang generally favored by darker folks. In other words, it's trying to be something it's not. Why would you want to *watch* a movie about Link saving Hyrule, when you can *play* as Link and save Hyrule yourself? -F

There is enough bad movies in the world. Have mercy.
Haha I was going to say the same thing. If they end up doing it, they would probably use Chris Crocker as Zelda.

Or would there be a story or something.... should be interesting.. ya know... if it happens. I think I might go and become a script writer/director now. Brb 5 mins.

5 mins later: Nope, didn't turn out how I expected, nvm.
