I wear cover-up under my eyes sometimes if I wake up and I have some darkness or puffiness under my eyes. I use some foundation on my entire face as well from time to time in case for some reason i have some splotches or noticeable unevenness in my skin tone. Of course I also get manicures/pedicures and pluck my eye brows and use both exfoliater and cleanser...I'm kind of a metro sexual

I don't wear it at all, and never plan to. I like to take care of myself, but there's no need for me to ever wear the stuff.

As for guys wearing it, well, I couldn't care less. Do whatever the hell you please, but don't expect everyone to be as accepting about it.

O and I also use regenerative facial masks at night before going to bed...so don't odd dude. If anyone should feel unmanly or anything ehhh its most likely me lol. Being in China now, especially where I live in Jinan, it REALLY stands out. I had to buy almost all female hygiene products like apricot scrub etc because where I live they just flat out don't market the stuff to guys. I get a lot of weird looks from my male chinese friends when they see my apartment and the stuff in it. Hell I've got complaints from some ex-gf's because they think I care more about that stuff then they do...also didn't help that I always had better skin then they did lol

I'm a girl, but I get criticized for not wearing make-up, so I know how you feel. Don't feel so weird about it. And about keeping eyeliner on longer...I have no clue...it's always baffled me when I'm forced to wear make-up...
Personally I find make-up somewhat that of a turnoff, especially that foundation or whatever the hell you call it which is basically dust that sticks to your face to make you look like someone attacked you with cinnamon.
I agree with you 100%, also it can damage your skin if you aren't careful about it.

I do wear make up. A bit of powder, eye liner and mascara.
When I go out, I do a bit more, maybe some eye shadow.

Make up on guys... it really depends if they can pull it off.

No, for I am a manly man. And manly men don't wear unmanly make-up because we are too manly for that.

Okay okay, kidding aside I don't wear make-up. The only time I would ever wear make-up is if I were to dress up as the Heath Ledger Joker for some reason because that guy is awesome.

I'm a male. Males should NEVER wear make up.
If they do, they don't deserve to have a dong.

No, I think make up would look silly with my beard and shaved head... it would make me look like an effeminate Captain Spalding.

Also I've been told that I have a attractive, strong facial structure & nice eyes (striking yet kind and beautiful), so it would be a crime to sully them with eye-liner & make up.

I only ever wear a bit of eyeliner and mascara. I went to a school where the girls were heavy on the orange foundation, so I'm sworn off the stuff for life.

With the chance of sounding like a bigot/ignoramus/jerk I must state this:

Well... No. Since I'm a man, and with that not a whiny emo/goth/scene kid, nor homosexual. I do not wear makeup.
This might have been a bit harsher than i would phrase it, but this.

I mean, it seems like the only reason you're even doing this is because of the fact that these boys are making fun of you. You say you're doing it becuase "we live in overly sexualized society" but I don't really buy it. I mean, power to you if you feel like this is the actual cause, but it seems more like you're trying to fit into this role.

Whatever, its not my place to judge. But as Catchphrase said it, these are pretty much the reasons why I would never, ever wear make up.
no actually i'm not doing it because we live in an overly sexualized society, i was just inviting people to mention that if they thought it was relevant.

as to the reason i'm doing it, i think it looks cool.

well yeah, you have a bit of a point there. i'd probly still wear it, but i'd be a lot less motivated if ppl didn't care. i'm not really getting made fun of tho, just sort of getting called on it.
Can't you see your doing more harm then good?
Why do you wear make up? Attention.
Great, just *****ing fantastic. Not to show how makeup can be beneficial for men and women, but for attention.
Not helping anyone by taking frankly such a juevenile approach to it.
well i'd be lying if i said i wasn't enjoying the attention a bit, but i can't see how this is detrimental to society in anyway. beneficial maybe, because a boy is wearing makeup without considering they're might be some ppl who take issue with that. thats a good thing.

for the second time i will say that there is no need for hostility. if you disagree with me, i implore you to say so but plz keep it civil.
Doing something for attention is immature.
As I said, makeup makes everyone look better, but social stigma means if a guy wears it, he's "a fag". If guys started using it well and taking away the stigma, that's probably a step closer to equality in a sense. The fact though you are doing it just for attention isn't doing anything good for it, and making it now look like you wear makeup if "you're a fag" or if you are attention seeking. The latter isn't going to help guys who just want to look better, say if they've really bad skin, is it?
eyeliner doesn't do all that much for skin. and as I said i'm not doing it for attention. its just a welcome side effect.

and if say it did, if another person was doing it as well, it would be much easier to deal with, and ppl would care a lot less.

If your doing it for attention, then you need to find something better to do for time.

If your trying to make an impression or something, then go for it.
Im not sure about this 'middle school, high school' thing,as im british.
Oh,and if you are doing it to conform to the 'Emo' Stereotype, please dont.People who follow stereotypes are too insecure to stand out.

Being a man does not excuse you from taking care of your appearance. This is one of the reasons girls don't date you.
I didn't say I was ugly, I said I was allowed to be ugly. I keep well trimmed and groomed, and in good hygiene. I have very clear skin naturally, and I work surrounded by dudes all day. Why would I wear makeup?
It seems we both made a mistake in understanding each other. I assumed that your comment meant something along the lines that you don't take care of your appearance, and are poorly-groomed. My bad.

You misunderstood my comment to mean that you should wear make-up. I did not mean that, I just meant that guys need to try a bit as well.
Ah, no harm then my friend.

This sounds great.

I don't wear makeup mostly because I'm a guy, and I've never had makeup on, so I can't really say how to keep it on.

I'll be blunt. The fact that attention is a welcome side effect shows that you really aren't of the right maturity to help society see make-up wearing guys as either juvenile or homosexuals. Is this bad? I'll leave that up to you to decide.
right then.
