Lord no.

I can barely put contacts in without mutilating myself.

I can only imagine the feeling of... whatever eyeliner is made of in my retinas when I inevitably spazz and stab 'em.

because it is generally frowned upon for men to wear makeup, especially eyeliner.

edit: does it make you look fabulous?

I know someone else who wears it... and I personally just think he looks weird.

Each to his own etc.

I actually feel better about the fact you're a boy wearing makeup instead of a young girl wearing makeup. Huh...

I don't see the bad side in guys wearing make-up though don't try to wear it the same way as women. Guys wear make-up all the time in theater and on tv. If anyone gives you crap about it I'd point out that Johnny Depp wears eyeliner, nailpolish and eyeshadow all the time and he's one of the single most desirable men in the world today.

Just don't overdo it, everyone looks like a bit of a idiot when they overdo make up.

also is there a way to make eyeliner stay on longer? by the end of the day its always rubbed off and i'm to embarassed to ask anyone else
I'm quite confused by this; you're not embarrassed to wear make-up, but you are embarrassed to ask questions about it? Just seems a tad strange to me.

Anyways, I don't wear make-up because I'm drop dead gorgeous just the way I am... well, actually it's because I have sensitive eyes which I'm very afraid to put anything on or near, and it takes more time than I'm willing to spend on reaching a result that I don't even particularly want. I suppose it doesn't really bother me or anything, but I wouldn't do it personally, for those reasons.

I didn't start wearing makeup until college. I attended high school in jeans and Metallica shirts every day (sometimes I'd wear a Pantera shirt), then one day decided I'd start wearing a bit of makeup. Not sure why, but it's just become habit now. Just a little though, and only if I'm actually going somewhere.

Guys in makeup can look good, but I prefer my men without it, personally. I've never actually met a guy who looked good in makeup, but I know they're out there.

I couldn't fathom wearing make up.

And honestly, WHY? Why would a man want to look pretty?

Please don;t take offense to that, men who wear make-up, but honestly answer me: What makes you want to be PRETTY? Maybe its how I was brought up (By a manly man with skin like Clint Eastwood and hands made of steel - Literally, my father has shards of steel in his hands. From cutting steel.), but I have no wish to be pretty.

Why?

I'm a girl, but I get criticized for not wearing make-up, so I know how you feel. Don't feel so weird about it. And about keeping eyeliner on longer...I have no clue...it's always baffled me when I'm forced to wear make-up...
I feel your pain, I can't STAND the stuff, and only wear it when there's no worming my way out (aka- the school formal) I don't understand the obsession with it as a requirement frankly, nor do I understand those who refuse to be seen in public without it, however, rest assured if you refuse long enough eventually people give up the pressure and just accept it :)
