I have no idea what you are talking about now. Let's remember that I was criticising the statement "men don't wear make-up"...a statement that is clearly, empirically wrong...as well as laughably arrogant.Catchphrase said:I appreciate your stance, and I can respect it. It's not a problem at all that you find yourself compelled to force your views of people unto me and people sharing my viewpoint... As long as we don't do that same to you. It's quite hypocritical, I think.Sexual Harassment Panda said:I'm not convinced it's insecurity...just a lack of thought. Gender roles(like everything else)are in a constant state of flux...it's just arrogant to assert any position too firmly.Catchphrase said:You'd be better off pointing out me, peel15's and everyone with a similar opinion's sexual insecurity... Or something to that extent. It would still be completely needless, but it would be less patronizing.Sexual Harassment Panda said:Sure they do, they do it all the time.peel15 said:No i don't because I'm not an attention whore like you seem to be and I'm not gay or emo or goth or scene
I'm with Catchphrase on this one men don't wear make up
We are clear on what defines a persons gender, and it isn't whether they wear make-up or not. Google it if you don't believe me.
I don't wear make-up...doesn't mean that I never will.
Some people say that having long hair isn't manly. But by their same small minded definitions of manly behaviour, those hairy vikings were the manliest men to ever walk the earth.
theres no problem. if you don't want to wear it thats your decision. i salute you for not giving into peer pressure.LuzGutierrez said:I'm a girl, I don't wear make-up at all. I just don't find it very appealing to slap some chemicals and STUFF on my face, even IF it's to look "prettier" in some people's eyes. Honestly, I don't care as much...viking97 said:i've been wondering if there are other boys that wear makeup, and stuff.
Um, I think that's your problem. My sister didn't start putting the crap on until she was in High School, and I'm in college and still don't put on the stuff. I don't think most people, if not JUST girls, start using it regularly until 8th to 9th grade, if even...viking97 said:its middle school
Bam. Well said. ...and Chapstick is pretty much the one thing in life that I'm addicted to >_<Amberella said:I only wear mascara and chapstick. xD That's about it. I prefer natural beauty over caked on faces trying to look pretty.
This is off-topic but... I think that's one of the finest avatars I've ever seen.Pegghead said:Are you kidding me, I'm a man, I'm a MANS MAN!
In short I don't wear make-up, but what are the reasons for a middle school boy to be wearing make-up?
same here.Slaanax said:I don't wear make-up, I don't see a point. I honestly prefer girls wear as little as possible or at least do a good job hiding they do.
