Nope, I can never find the right colours for my complexion...

...plus makeup tends to clash with my beard.

No i don't because I'm not an attention whore like you seem to be and I'm not gay or emo or goth or scene

I'm with Catchphrase on this one men don't wear make up
Sure they do, they do it all the time.

We are clear on what defines a persons gender, and it isn't whether they wear make-up or not. Google it if you don't believe me.

I don't wear make-up...doesn't mean that I never will.
You'd be better off pointing out me, peel15's and everyone with a similar opinion's sexual insecurity... Or something to that extent. It would still be completely needless, but it would be less patronizing.
I'm not convinced it's insecurity...just a lack of thought. Gender roles(like everything else)are in a constant state of flux...it's just arrogant to assert any position too firmly.

Some people say that having long hair isn't manly. But by their same small minded definitions of manly behaviour, those hairy vikings were the manliest men to ever walk the earth.
I appreciate your stance, and I can respect it. It's not a problem at all that you find yourself compelled to force your views of people unto me and people sharing my viewpoint... As long as we don't do that same to you. It's quite hypocritical, I think.
I have no idea what you are talking about now. Let's remember that I was criticising the statement "men don't wear make-up"...a statement that is clearly, empirically wrong...as well as laughably arrogant.

I didn't even try to replace your polarised and stupid argument with the opposite polarised and stupid argument. If anything, I introduced some middle ground to this discussion. Read it again, I'm criticising anyone who puts fourth a pro or anti make-up stance.

No, I don't. And although I hate to admit it, I would probably judge against you if I saw you in real life and your name is not Adam Lambert, or the make-up is done tastefully.

However, as someone before me said, it definitely takes "balls of steel" to do that. If this is what you want, if you feel it helps you define who you are, good on you; don't listen to the asshats that tell you not to.

i've been wondering if there are other boys that wear makeup, and stuff.
I'm a girl, I don't wear make-up at all. I just don't find it very appealing to slap some chemicals and STUFF on my face, even IF it's to look "prettier" in some people's eyes. Honestly, I don't care as much...

its middle school
Um, I think that's your problem. My sister didn't start putting the crap on until she was in High School, and I'm in college and still don't put on the stuff. I don't think most people, if not JUST girls, start using it regularly until 8th to 9th grade, if even...
theres no problem. if you don't want to wear it thats your decision. i salute you for not giving into peer pressure.

as for slapping chemicals in my face, its just eyeliner for now. i'mm thinking of lipstick or something later on but not now.

Hells no. I can barely be bothered to shave in the morning as is, and besides... I'm not really one for make-up and such. Honestly speaking, I really don't like guys who wear make-up - generally the only reason for them doing so is to get attention, and I hate attention-seekers.

That, and the fact that I'm not a particularly vain person. I have long hair, but that's just because I'm too lazy to get regular hair cuts. The trade off, of course, is that I have to take longer showers, which is a bit of a ***** at times.

All my clothes are sorta scruffy - I tend to wear these old jeans I've had for ages, and pretty much all my shirts are either related to gaming, or have some kind of funny slogan on them.

Basically, it all adds up to me being the sorta guy who just blends into the background - and that's just the way I like it.

Sometimes, takes too long to put it on and my skin is super sensitive. I need to work on being a bit more girly

Are you kidding me, I'm a man, I'm a MANS MAN!

In short I don't wear make-up, but what are the reasons for a middle school boy to be wearing make-up?

I don't wear make-up, I don't see a point. I honestly prefer girls wear as little as possible or at least do a good job hiding they do.

Don't care enough about my appearance to bother with it.

I find it pointless.

I only wear mascara and chapstick. xD That's about it. I prefer natural beauty over caked on faces trying to look pretty.
Bam. Well said. ...and Chapstick is pretty much the one thing in life that I'm addicted to >_<

This is off-topic but... I think that's one of the finest avatars I've ever seen.

Nah I don't... not cause I'm a guy and whatnot, I probably wouldn't wear it even if I was a girl...

Considering I can't even keep up my basic hygiene, I doubt I could ever be bothered with makeup.
