Are you claiming that there's no tension because they're obviously going to save the day and everything will be fine? Really? I was under the impression that they were going to blow up the universe and kill the Doctor, but then I read your post.

I mean come on, it's not like the Doctor's going to fail, is it? It doesn't really matter whether we know he's going to succeed thanks to logical analysis, because we know he's going to succeed because that's how it works. It's like going to see a James Bond movie and genuinely worrying that James Bond might not escape a slow moving unobserved death trap.

TIME TRAVEL DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY!

I'm sorry, but you're watching a CHILDREN'S TV SHOW!! and you're pissed that the rules regarding time-travel mean there's no tension? Thats like bitching because Mario has no guns. If anything, you could argue that the cracks arn't caused by the Tardis exploding, but by the large paradox created by River Song being blown up and therefore not existing.

P.S Did anyone notice that the all important date (26th of June 2010) is next saturday, the day of the finale, good foreshadowing or what?

First thing I did when they showed the date on the Angels episode was check the calander and work out when the last episode would be.

My god that was unreal!! Seriously I knew Moffat was good, but that was... spectacular. I've only got two theories for how the next episode goes:

1. It was the doctor controlling the Tardis from within the Pandorica (In the future), the cracks in time let him escape and then there is day saving.. somehow.

2. It was the Valelord (I think that's how it's spelt) controlling the Tardis and they're all F***ed.


P.S Did anyone notice that the all important date (26th of June 2010) is next saturday, the day of the finale, good foreshadowing or what?

I find it better just to ignore long-winded, pedantic ramblings like the one you first quoted there. Anyone going into Doctor Who expecting indepth studies on the "workings" of time travel is somewhat missing the point. Who here can actually say they know how time travel works anyway? Do they do it often?

Anyway, good episode. That wasn't what I expected the Pandorica to be either, definitely places the Doctor in a tight spot. I was also highly relieved when it wasn't the Daleks that emerged from the Pandorica. That would have been quite the anticlimax.

I have no ideas as to what could happen next. Especially thanks to the lack of a Next Time clip after the credits rolled.
