I shouldn't because you said lol and followed it with a question mark, but what the hell.

Enjoy.

Edit: Oh and the finale should be up within the next day or two I think.

it was ok, to be honest though the end didn't FEEL like the season finale, to me it seemed as though the producers knew that say, the Eurovision contest would take the D.R Who spot, I guess the ending made it seem more like a mid-season 2-parter

The last episode sort of seemed like a cop out to me...there should've been some more harsh realisation the universe was collapsing, like a bit without the doctor in it, it needed more bleakness

And they didn't explain how he got out of the box to get himself out in the first place either.

I mean the ending scene of the first part was really sad, but it just all copped out by the equivilent of "a wizard did it". The doctor randomly shows up (never being explained) with a time bracer, jumps around to everywhere, saves everyone and has jam buscuits without any hitches at all...it was just dissapointing to be honest. Maybe if it had been a three parter, they could've made the story better and less squished and rushed like it seemed in the second part.

I think the reason why it didn't feel like a finale in the strictest snese was due to all the lead ins they gave us to the next season.

I liked it - tied up so many loose ends. And they didn't forget about the Sun

Also, the bit where Amy had to keep her eyes shut for all the Angels and he tells her to remember what he told her when she was seven. WOW.

Long foreshadowing much?
Hell, every single episode this series has contributed to a massive Chekhov's Gun for the final episode. Last time I saw one pulled off so magnificently was with Lost (seriously, that had one single Chekhov's Gun running over six whole seasons...). Overall, I loved it. And the best bit is, unlike every other new series so far, this time the plot wasn't entirely resolved and follows into the next series possibly (Silence Will Fall, and the reason for the supernovae, were never explained... looking forward to Christmas now :D.
It should be damn good.

Although I was a bit meh about the whole "remember me and I'll come back" thingy, as used against the Master in...whatever episode it was. Seems a bit cheesey to me. But hey, still a great episode.

I think there are about 5 posts above explaining how a stable time loop works if you wanna check them out. Oh and the time bracer was River Song's Vortex Manipulator.

Ya, on my second watch now, and i think it should've ended without the doctor or something to that effect.
It was very "aaaaand... REWIND YAY HAPPILY EVER AFTER WEDDING LOLOLOOLOLOOLOLL"

Total event collapse as a result of the TARDIS exploding. TARDIS is throughout time and at every point in time it exploded and at the same instant.

It was shit.

It was built up with looaaaaaaaaaads of enemies and there was one dusty dalek.

Zero climax, nothing happened.

Plus...there was no Tom Baker.
You made a powerful enemy today...
What sorry?
Oh yes doctor who...
I loved it on of the best so far as in endings I'm starting to like matt Smiths doctor (is that his name). I taped it so I watched it late...
Oh well still loved it...
Also grats on the 5000th post.

Also, who the fuck wears their bridal veil thing at the reception >8.

Amy's mother at one point, in the same sentence, had a Welsh, Irish and Scottish accent :p

EDIT: hate the way Gillan needs to add a sound on the end of words "...you are late for my wedding-GAH."
and why does she keep trying to get it on with the Doctor :p

I read it, but a catalyst for the time loop needs to be there, there should at least be a reason for the catalyst in the story somewhere.

I found it to be confusing and disapointing. I guess I'll wait for next year then.

EDIT: Matt Smith is one of the best doctors so far and the shitty writing has destroyed his potential.
I agree with the first part, but to be honest I kind of preferred Tennant.
You're right. What I should have said is that he could be much better if it weren't for the terrible writing in most of the episodes.

I really liked it. Definatly better then the mess of the last finale. It even had River Song doing something that doesn't make me want to punch her in the face.

It begins in Rory's timestream... eh no look it's called a time LOOP. Like a circle. There is no beginning nor end. /
