Interesting start to the episode. 3 months later and told with flashbacks.

"I'm helping! What are you doing? Putting up cabinets?"

Im pretty sure we havent seen the last of the Silence. Like they said; Silence will fall!

Interesting stuff with Rivers timeline. The last time she kissed the Doctor is the first time for him.
Also, it's all about the little girl!

OMG the girl regenerated! She fucking regenerated! Mind blown!

A place to talk about theories, spoilers and speculation! [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/chat/The-Escapist-TARDIS-Crew]

Wow, I bet she's Amys daughter, with The doctor!
I suggested her daughter last week, but, not with the doctor, although I can't think of any other reason it'd be able to regenerate.

Sadly, it was another poor episode. While the ideas were interesting, it wasn't very entertaining.

Am I the only one who found that sad?

Also, calling it now because someone has too, Pond Jnr = River Song.

Edit: After the pains they went to last season to show the Doctors celibacy re: Amy and show in this episode and last season how much she loves Rory, I doubt its the Doctors kid. Big, wild (but fun) guesses here, but I'm also calling Time Travel messes up Human DNA/feotuses and the Time Lords are actually evolved Humans with Amy's kid being either the 1st in a new generation or the first ever Time Lord.

Frankly I'm not entirely sure what happened in this episode. I spent the whole episode in a state of "Bluh? What the fuck?" And then suddenly it concluded. I am so very, very confused. Still, I enjoyed it.

So that whole thing with that episode in season 4 with the fish monsters and the cloning is finally becoming significant, because that's the only explanation I can find that doesn't mess with the established characters.

in two minds about the episode- the bit in the orphanage was brilliant and how the doctor defeated the silence was likewise but theres still something about it that doesnt sit right.

[sub]Oh and Karen Gillan in a suit was incredibly hot...[/sub]

EDIT= Oh and not sure Moffat is having it work but it used to be that regeneration was a technological thing and not part of a time lords biology

You really think they are going to put incest in Doctor Who?

Really?
Check my edit. They've put too much work into Amy loves Rory for her to be boinking the Doctor as well.

Nope. The look on River's face when she saw what the kiss meant was heartbreaking...

It was sad just seeing her face when she realised she's never kissed him in his timeline before and it's her last. But how does she know it's her last? I suppose being back to front she must have known that when the day would come that it was the first time for him, it would be her last.

Okay either...

The girl is the Doctors clone daughter, from David Tennant series...

Or, she's Rory and Amys child but from travelling in the TARDIS the child is essentially Time Lord.

That might actually explain things more easily because, and I cannot confirm this, but I'm pretty sure that the Doctor and Amy never actually got anywhere. The vibe I got was that it was energy from the TARDIS (Maybe Artron, or that stuff that Donna had on her) which was a affecting Amy's baby/not baby.

It could just be an accidental version of what happens when the Time Lords used to select natives from Galiffrey and turned them into Timelords. But unfortunately without the check if the child is insane/ capable of dealing with godlike powers.

Dammit, Moffat, make some more sense please!
It was an interesting story nonetheless. He's written better though.
But yes, the bit with the girl at the end. I want to see where he's going with that.
