Next weeks episode is called "A Good Man Goes to War" and will probably the first of a two parted that spans months!

It's going to feature Silurians! and Cybermen! AND ROMAN RORY!
Cybermen and Cybermats are returning in episode 11 to my knowledge.

Just watched the trailer for the next one, seems like we get to see who River Song really is...
I can't wait for next time.

This episode: it didn't seem like all that much happened except in the last few minutes. A lot of running. Then the twist at the end, kind of explains things but seemed a bit wrong.
'Amy's pregnant! But not pregnant at the same time! LOL it's not even Amy'
Might as well just say they all woke up and none of this actually happened like in the Dream Lord.
Loved the jelly baby line though.

I loved the episode. But could anyone explain why The Doctor dissolved Flesh!Amy?
I think he did it to prove to Rory that it wasn't her. And since real Amy was having a baby, ganger Amy was in pain and he released her from the pain by dissolving her.
Essentially killing someone to prove a point isn't exactly a good way to go about things, especially when he didn't actually tell her what was happening specifically, he just showed her by dissolving her. Plus, couldn't he have just sedated her to prevent her temprorary pain so she wouldn't have to feel it but wake up and be very much alive once that pain was over?

Was it not becuase amy was controling the ganger (not realising it of course) and so for her to be concious he had to kill the ganger, like at the beginining of the previous episode.

EDIT: Double post, woops

But the only way the Gangers were controlled was by the human's in the harnesses. And contraction Amy didn't seem to be in one, plus the other Gangers were under their own control and I'm pretty sure Amy was too because she didn't even know she was flesh at the time. The message seemed to be to accept people as human because of their qualities, not their physical make-up or appearence and for The Doctor to just dissolve her like that without an apparent (or yet explained) reason undermines that message for me.

Finally when we find out whats going on with Mrs Eyepatch, it gives us another cliffhanger, although I did sort of expect that Amy was in some sort of place like, but I did not expect her to be a ganger at all. Very interesting overall.
Lookin around on IMDb I found out her name this may be significant to someone who knows doctor who past I suppose.

Name in spoilers:
Madame Kovarian source: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0436992/fullcredits#cast then http://www.imdb.com/character/ch0244883/

Oh nice, now they're recycling plot points from the 90s Spider-Man cartoon, down to and including the fake redhead love interest fall apart into a puddle of liquid. And as they continue their grand tour of ripping stuff off we get Nazgûl with lightsabers. GG

And Cybermen? Really? How many times can those things be declared "extinct"? Stop reusing them for goodness sake. I was glad to see a season without Daleks but then you whip out the damn Cybermen again. Eesh.

This might actually be the first instance of non alternate universe Cybermen in the new seris, apart from the pandorica episode but they where really just background characters in that.

i want to know what happens with other gangers whenever they where talking about them he made it seem like some sort of revolution was going to happen

My thoughts: on the episode:
Pretty good, but I don't get what was up with Jennifer turning into the weird thingy for no reason.
My thoughts on the episode finish:
OK, right. Amy's giving birth, and she was Flesh for the past several episodes meaning they get retconned out of the loop and are therefore meaningless.

So uh this has been bugging me but the doctor gave his screwdriver to the Ganger at the end to stop Jen. So... where did he get the screwdriver he used on Amy Ganger at the end? :/

Amy being a ganger I didn't think was going to happen but I saw the shoe thing coming as soon as Amy looked at them.

The TARDIS. Sonic Screwdrivers aren't particularly irreplaceable.

Will you guys stop saying that the shoe-swapping was obvious? You're making me feel slow. I didn't see it coming. >_<

Feel exactly the same, This is just beginning to get tedious, doesn't help when all the the episodes plot points short of the final could be predicted.

The more I think about the end of the episode, the less I understand it.

The Doctor spent the whole time explaining (mainly to Amy) that Gangers are no less people than humans are, then he went and dissolved her a reason that wasn't explained (yet). Doing all of that and then just to treat her like the other humans treated their Gangers just seems cruel.

This episode and the last were unbelievably boring, although the ending was fairly interesting.
