So much awesome concentrated into one hour! Love the Sontaran nurse.

Rory IS the childs father! Thank god it wasnt the Doctor!
Rory is a badass!
Non-Cybus Cybermen! Finally! And a whole legion blown up just to prove a point!
The Doctor's Time Lord cot.
Human + Time Lord DNA from procreation during TARDIS flight.

"Demons run, when a good man goes to war!"
"I speak baby." "I speak everything."

[HEADING=2]River Song is Amy's daughter!!!!![/HEADING]

I think it's a testament to that episode that I sat down with 2 bags to sweets to munch on and neither of them ended up even opened by the end!

I should have realized it earlier. Melody Pond...River Song....urgh -.-
I haven't enjoyed an episode of Doctor Who this much in quite a while though, I must say.

Well I guess we know what the Tardis was trying to say before she went back into the tardis body.

So does that mean River is a Timelord? In which case is the River Song we know the oldest 13th regeneration? (seeing as she died in the Dr Who Library episodes with David Tennant as the Doctor.)

Saw the whole River is Melody a mile off

Altogether a brilliant episode

Although did anyone catch the slight scene after the credits? wonder what that was all about....

That was a pretty cool episode. Rory has become my favourite character!

Guessed that River Song was her daughter.

In all honesty, the part I loved most was the fact that the next episode is going to be called "Let's kill Hitler" (or something to that extent)

Well to be fair. The amount of speculation about who she was. Unless she was some kind of transdimensional time lemon from the Gallifrey then it still wouldn't have been very surprising!

I agree, but props to BBC for ending mid-season on a cliff-hanger that won't be resolved for another 4 months into something that felt like it resolved ALOT of plot points

I've never screamed at my tv for any reason ever. But when i realised that River was Amy's daughter my mouth opened unfathomably wide and i emitted what can only be described as a higher pitched whale's song.

Predictable? Yes. Satisfying way to answer many questions? Definitely. Many questions raised for the rest of the series? Hell yes.

Thank you Steven Moffat for turning down Tintin. Fantastic episode and testament to his plotting.

I don't think she was at regeneration 13 necessarily . Bearing in mind that Tennant thought he was going to die from inserting himself into the machine anyway.

tbh it was always going to be River... there's not really anyone else they could let it be without introducing a new character. I was pretty annoyed if I'm honest, this is pure appealing to mindless kids TV, with almost zero plot development.

Great episode, but extremely predictable. Everybody I'd spoken to about who river might be all said the same thing, then it goes and turns out to be true, even if it weren't already obvious from the fact that Amy's daughter was called "melody pond".

Just wanna mention that you might wanna put a spoiler tag over the big blue one at the bottom there before someone who hasn't seen the episode gets something as big a spoiler as that spoilt

OT: GAWD YES!!! This episode was awesome but I can't help but think about how the doctor got his screwdriver back in the last episode after the ganger doctor uses it and dissaparates.

That actually made me laugh

At first I thought that river was saying she was the doctor to the doctor.

What scene? :|

Also, next episode "LETS KILL HITLER" made me laugh. Seemed like such an abrupt change.

The thread title has the word SPOILERS in big capital letters. That's enough.
