I like it a lot.

Even though it corrupted my saves, made me lose 5 hours and my team's tactic slots are bugged to shit and they all do things I don't tell them to

(especially Varric - he actually interrupts my commands to do that stupid rush move)

I like it, and I just got my Signature Edition today (after waiting 11 or so days for USPS to deliver).

Only things I don't like about it: The faces of the elves. They look like the kid from the System of a Down music video for Aerials:

and that it's like I need an HDTV to see every word clearly.
---

Other than that, it's great.

EDIT: Forgot about the lack of lengthy conversations between me and my group.

That part sucks as well.

Though I love all the varied responses you could give with the dialogue wheel.

They should put that in Mass Effect 3 and/or any and all future games of theirs. Sorry, but I like it a lot.

I played through one playthrough and halfway into a second one before I got sick of it and went back to DA:O.

I really, really like it.

It is not without faults, and in some cases Bioware "fixed" things that weren't broken, but overall I think it's an excellent game. I finished my first play through yesterday and have already began my second. I honestly don't see the hate for it, even some UK game magazines are having a go.

My only four real complaints are:

- Re-used locations, I thought people were exaggerating when they said they did this, but it is staggering how frequent it is.

- The ending is deliberately left open for DLC. I don't mind vague endings, but this was intentionally done to sell us a complete one.

- Party dialogue is limited to missions. You can still talk to them, but only in missions or in their default locations, and even then, only if they have a companion quest that asks you to speak to them. I miss having some lengthy conversations with my party, they seemed to have "countered" this by making companions have more say in other dialogue, but it's still slightly annoying.

- Bugs.

I liked it, but I have no interest in defending it against people who are zero-bombing it.
Either do I, but that's because I know futile when I see it.

I have seen so view remarks of it without any praises,i played threw it 3 times already and still it rocks! What is you're opinion?
I'm over 20 hours in, if you played through it three times you either skipped huge amounts of content or have absolutely no obligations such as school or work.

The reused environment piss me off, but my big complaints are the lack of a real antagonist until WAY too far in, and the bugs, ugh the bugs. Whenever I tell my companions to hold position they often get stuck in an infinite loop and do nothing.

Pretty much this. Yes, the reused maps are a pain, but plenty of the missions are unique enough, with some genuinely difficult moral decisions.

I think DA 2 was rushed out the door, but they got all the dialogue sorted before hand.

If I have to make do with a rushed game, I'd rather the locations be recycled than the missions.

Mediocre on a good day. I can easily put it down after 30 minutes and switch over to Dead Rising 2, Black Ops or Fall out: New Vegas.

Its prettier than the 1st and has a much cleaner more fluid combat system, so +++ for that.
But its just... boring in the end. I love the characters, the new skill system is a nice step up but ... I dunno I just keep hitting a wall every 30 minutes or so where I just become so bored I wanna turn it off.

Maybe its just me haha

Too much sidequest and too little story. Hawke's rise to power is finished by the start of Act 2, the rest of the game is bumf to set the world up for the next in the series.

I was left with a feeling of impotence after finishing the game; despite the heavy moral choices the game forces the player to make they are all meaningless which left me feeling completely superfluous to the story. As realistic as that might be it's not why we play games; we get enough superfluity in our daily lives, thanks.

In an attempt to exert some control over the story I was soundly, if unexpectedly in how it happened, rebuffed; if you have Anders killed in Awakenings you get no explanation for his somewhat surprising appearance in DA2, despite the game actually looking for that flag.

still playing through my first run but it's pretty good. the faster pacing feels strange to me though after playing DA:O and it's expansion. I also think that the equipment wasn't dealt with very well. I'm sorry, I actually didn't mind equipping my party members but now we've got the dumbed down "npc armor" that we can just buy upgrades for periodically. I think we're just one step closer to this just being mass effect with swords.
perhaps I'm just being too old school about this but since when do we not talk to the merchant when we wanna buy things? I had a bit of a derpy moment and wasn't sure what the hell to do about getting gear since the merchants apparently didn't want to sell me anything. Only after killing the dragon in the mine did a friend tell me that you had to examine the booths they are next to to buy stuff.

I liked it quite a lot and actually found it more enjoyable than DA:O. I'm not a big fan of classic RPGs, so the combat change was more than welcomed by me. The story was a nice change from "You are teh chosen one, go save the world". I liked the companions (yay, nobody's got the Carth syndrome), the graphics look very nice. So yeah, DA2 is good, imo.

I believe that the game could have been much, much better, though, if it wasn't for the deadline.

In the process of beating it a second time. It's an OBVIOUS rush job, but it has some splendid elements. Now I can't decide whether I prefer it or Origins. I think there's one too many steps backwards for it to be a true hit, but none of those is a deal-breaker for me. It's just a shame because of what it could have been.

But BioWare isn't getting my vote in this MM, because they've done a rather lazy job on the game, marketed it badly, and then handled the release like freakin' Kotick.

I loved it. Enjoyed it far more than Origins.

Sure it has its issues like the reused dungeon environments and some minor bugs but I felt that the combat, story and redone conversation system more than make up for that.

Hell I think I like the conversation system more than Mass Effect 2's for the simple fact that there's no Paragon/Renegade meter.
