As long as you are not forced the answer is no. In fact women in porn make far more money than male actors on average. It is also quite sexist to act like only men like porn.

I wouldn't necessarily say pornography takes advantage of women if they are fully consenting adults (although it can, in certain circumstances, be considered that way).

I would say it gives quite a few guys false (or at least exceedingly high) expectations and standards for what a "real" woman should be like, which then causes many women to feel like they aren't normal or attractive if they aren't up to that expected standard.

really and how does the gonzo industry NOT empower them? the thing is most of them are doing that because they WANT to do it. if a woman on the set says "stop no more" they stop, there is an actual movie where they are having rough sex and the girl calls it quits in the middle of the scene, they left it in the movie to show they aren't being mean to them

Some people (women and some men) see it as sexist and morally degrading to our society, but when you look at the long history of porn, it was a celebration of the human body and symbols of fertility in societies.

I have no problem with porn if any one chooses to take part in it, so long as they're of age. Women should know by now what they're getting into, and should be smart enough to get out of a situation that sounds weird or feels wrong to them.
