I don't know i mean...
Lets be fair here. That was funny as hell... But is it crossing the line?
Yeah a little bit. If they wouldn't have stuck the gun in his face it would have been ok.
But then again I giggled like a schoolgirl through the entire thing so I can't really comment.

Man that was so funny. I cracked up the whole way through. Gotta feel for the dude though I'd have probably shat myself & started crying like a ***** in his situation!

That was cruel, and it was unnecessary. The fact that it was funny doesn't really excuse it.

If I were the man featured in that video, honestly, I'd sue the makers of this little prank. If I thought I was under fire by a *sniper*, I'd probably be traumatized plenty.

This is a horrible thing to do to another human being.

That said: I laughed at this. Oh, did I laugh.

Well obviously the man featured doesn't agree with you since he allowed the clip to get shown, meaning he approves of what they did. Are we really in a position to say "Actually, the guy who suffered through it was WRONG to let them show this"? That seems a little bit big of us, don't you think?

I'm not sure what you mean- I was under the impression that they're showing it regardless of whether or not they gave him permission. This is just me assuming that the person wasn't in on it; if he was, then disregard what he said, but I still disagree with things like this on principle.

It's very interesting, when I saw his face, knowing full well that he was never in any danger, I did crack a smile, but when the realism of the situation developed, and they left him terrified for far too long, it crossed a line. The only way this would be acceptable here would be to have the victims almost immediately reveal they were fine, the intial "scared face" could then be the relatively guilt free pay off.

What troubles me most is that the main aim quickly shifts from seeing him sacred to humilitating him and laughing at his terrified 'antics' (as I imagine they are perceived). All in all a bit of a sick extension of the Punk'd concept...

That was fucking hilarious.

I wish I could understand Japanese.
Pretty much this, even though I didn't understand what they were saying, this had me in tears of laughter.

I would say the first 30 seconds before he started crawling were funny. I got bored after the guy came in and started dragging him out.

God, that was pretty bad. And the audience was laughing the entire time! That was slightly disgusting, considering that I would be crapping my friggin' pants in that situation, and all of those people found that hilarious.

I do have to admit, though, it was kinda funny, but that doesn't quite make up for it.

Only in Japan can a prank do psychological damage. I mean, the only other prank I can think of that is............THAT terrifying is this one! [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MdDV0xNc1mk]
Yeah, had they done that to me, I would've made that scene look as terrifying as Bingo.

This from the country that wraps itself in the cloak-of-victimization when reminding everyone of the hiroshima and nagasaki bombings. BTW ... anyone with a CCW permit could fight back. F japan.
