To be more On topic, To put this another way. If there are a bunch of protesters sat protesting. They have had their fun & its time to move along. Police ask the protesters to move along, They do not.

Police have no choice but to move them, By force. They will Lift them & if they do not co-operate and scuffle OF COURSE there are going to be injuries.

ok, Now an ACTUAL example:

I saw (admitted it was on Road Wars) a bunch of Greenpeace-Esque Protesters, Sat in a circle blocking the entrance, Linking arms in what can only be described as Large tubing.

The police came (as y'now, There was lots of traffic) and asked them to move. Then told them to move. Then Told them they were GOING to be moved.

Then they started picking up the protesters, One by one, One picking up an arm or leg each. These protesters were doing their impressions of dead bodies, Screaming like they were in pain, Trying to make as much of a scene if possible.

Chances are (as they were all students from a down south (UK) College/Uni) there were a few reports JUST LIKE the OP on the internet around the time.

Ya, I feel that there's something the article's not telling us. To sum it up in 2 paragraphs is not a good idea, hence why I'm asking for another source.

I have friends that live outside of Rochester, and my girlfriend lives about an hour away near Buffalo, I checked the local news websites and can't find anything on this at all.

Whatever... The reason I'm that upset is becuase of what it use to be like just after 9/11. When no one cared what party you belonged to, what race, religon and so on. But this, this, just pisses me off when eight years ago those same people wanted to go in and kick some terrorist ass, now. My god this country is in the hole. Only when foreign dignitaries come to visit. We like to pretend we're a real country by going into Def-Con 4 and ruining everybody's day with stupid security measures. When Condaleeza Rice paid a visit here a while ago, they shut down the Conservatorium of Music (a school) so she could speak there. Naturally, students thought they had the right to protest this, but the secret service, or FBI or whatever beat them up and towed them away in a security van.

That's why it sucks not having a bill of rights in our country - they're assumed to exist until someone with a big head in the government decides they're sick of the whole, 'Justice' thing.

The only excuse you've got is your alleged family values. Tone down your nationalism, please, and think for once. Marching into a country, kicking over all of their traditions (no matter how much I might oppose them, and I do - the same way I oppose a lot of traditions and religions in other places) will not bring any so called freedom. This war is an absolute waste of money, the more they push the greater the resistance will be, and good luck fighting against guerrilla warriors - especially when some of the country's innocent native population might start to hate you as well for, again, bursting right in and kicking everything. Things have inertia. Changes, whatever they might be, must be made slowly - if you run in and kick something down, there will be great resistance. Which, I might add, you americans aren't quite successful at overcoming.

So, yeah, the talibans are not such a great threat and they certainly don't deserve so much money wasted on them when other more worthy areas deserve attention - like bloody education and health care, among other things. Although it's fucked up enough as it is, thanks to the whole invasion thing, so it's not going to end well either way.

You need to chill out. My grandfather fought on Iwo Jima, and my uncle did 2 tours in Viet Nam with the Marines. Both of them opposed the war in Iraq, and while my grandfather passed away, my uncle opposes the war in Afghanistan now. We went into Afghanistan for what I think are valid reasons, but when we got over there we didn't know what to do next, thats where we sit now. It's a mess and those marines you love are getting killed because we had no exit strategy. We can't stay there forever, but we can't let the training camps re open. We need to figure that stuff out and then get the hell out of there.
