"Sevink, I'm right over here!" Jason called from a ledge higher up on the mountain. He had been searching for a way back into the cave and had finally found one at the top of the mountains. It was a good thing Sevink had woken up when he had.

"Always" came the curt, barley thought about reply from Neria. She was too wrapped up in her own thoughts, analysing not just Allister's state (though that was first and foremost) but also the threats that could be bareing down upon them as they travelled.

Ashalle's eyes snapped open and she found herself surrounded by darkness. Staying completely still, she could feel rocks pressing in around her. Her shield had lasted long enough to divert any falling rocks before she could be crushed. What had happened? The last thing she remembered was standing at the cave entrance, looking at the battle in the woods. What happened to everyone else? Using her right hand, she pushed herself into a sitting position. She reached out to try and find her staff with her left arm and cried out. She realised that it was broken. Holding it against her body, she clmibed awkwardly to her feet and peered into the darkness. "...Hello?"
Neither will I! I refuse to allow my character to die without possibly killing Neria in return! He still has too much Character Development to pass up!
Actually, I only posted this as dead to see what people were still committed to this. I can continue this if you want or someone else can take it over.

Jason looked down into the depths of the cave and noticed a soft howl down below. He motioned for everyone left outside the cave to follow him. He drew only his longsword, his shield covered in scratches and arrow shafts.
"Sevink! How is your armor holding up?" Jason called out, looking down below.

We narrowly managed to defeat them, sealing everyone but Jason, Sevink, and three other NPC's outside of the cave. The armor hung loosely from Sevink body,it was badly dented and broken,as were many of his ribs and other assorted bones.He wonders if the dents were doing wonders for his body,and how much blood he had lost.It was amazing to think he was still alive.

"Damn... well hurry up here, we will rest up here for a few minutes and see if we can't bang a few dents out of your armor!" Jason called, tacking off his shield and grabbing a hammer from one of the other apprentices.
Sevink shrugged.He routed through the rubble for a few seconds,before taking out his sword,it would still work but it was badly bent at the end.He sighed and walked over to JAson,ready to follow.
"Alright lets get our armor and weapons repaired before we go down deeper." Jason said, drawing his own swords and seeing it covered in blood.
Allister watched as Neria ran off and breathed a sigh of relief. His visions were fading slightly, but the Bloodmage knew that they would return with even more force once the Battle was over.

Down deeper in the tunnels, they apprentices came across some crossroads. One led deeper, one led higher, and one led straight. The smell of death and decay was everywhere, so it was hard to say which way was the best.
