The Bloodmage cursed softly. He wasn't suited to Battlefield level close combat. As such, he had to reach higher ground before he would reach any significant trouble. His Avatars were doing the Intellectual Equivalent of an All Night Cramming session, running this way and that. The Chessmaster was working on the Neria problem. The Builder was certain that the Emissary was the one that needed to die. The Saint was formulating tactics to burn as large a group of Darkspawn as humanly possible. The Ranger was keeping his emotions in check, his fear, anger, etc. All being monitored by him.

Allister smiled slightly. Just like old times.

He was currently standing on a slight precipice, observing Jason and Sevink's charge. Neria was farther upwards, not really doing anything of significance. Though that was to be expected. Suddenly, 3 Darkspawn which had apparently been trying to sneak into the Cave where Neria was, attempted to jump him.

The Bloodmage signaled dismissively, which was the signal for the Blood Trap he had set nearby to explode violently below their legs. As the Scraps of meat started falling, Allister rolled his eyes at the predictability of the Darkspawn. If Jason and Sevink kept at it, there would be enough blood spilt to blow off this portion of the Mountain. As well as the Majority of the Darkspawn. The Bloodmage had sent a mental message to Jason, explaining what he would do. Basically, they would keep fighting until a signal is lit. Which would come from a magical discharge at the cave. From there, the Mages would throw Magical Energy downward, allowing the 2 to escape. The Magical energy from the blasts would charge the Blood already spilt, allowing Allister more direct control over them. The Emissary would be too busy at the fact of several magical fireballs falling at their heads to notice, so they would die. Or most them anyway.

This was also one the reasons that Allister was climbing back towards the cave, to tell Neria of this plan. Of course, he COULD have sent her a Magical Message to her mind. But that wasn't part of the scenario. Eventually he reached Neria and said "While I am quite sure that you are enjoying the battle, i'm afraid that this battle will have to end soon."

"Just like you to ruin my..."

She ceased speaking mid sentence as a Hurlock seemed to appear from no-where, bounding up the hill towards her, sword raised and teeth bared.

She chuckled before shooting her hands forward and towards the creature, a pulse of purple shimmered from them as two medium sized bolts raced forwards and into the Darkspawns legs, severing them and causing the vile creature to plummet down the hill.

"What is it you are planning?" she continued as she turned to him, brushing a strand of hair from her slightly blood speckled face.

Allister remained calm from Neria's show of magical power, though the Chessmaster, Builder and the Ranger were all scrambling to find out WHAT the HELL that was. Her Magic is always in the Form of Purple Flame and.....

The Bloodmage ignored his Avatars for the moment. He pointed to the ground where Jason and Sevink were fighting. "Currently, those two are spilling enough Darkspawn Blood to drown a Village. Now, if we were to throw enough Magical Energy to charge the blood already there. I could Probably wipe out the majority of the Darkspawn."

"And what makes you think I have enough energy to charge the blood?" she teased, letting a small laugh escape her lips. She had to admit, as her mother had pointed out, that she found Allister to be the most interesting of the group to say the least.

While she was warming slightly to the sweaty beast that was Sevink, she could only honestly say that Allister was one of the ones she would willingly....

'No, mother forbade me from these thoughts, focus on my duty'

"Good plan" she said, sobering up, her face returning to its usual impassive 'battle-mode'.

"Just give me a signal... I am at your disposal"

With that she gave him one final wink before continuing to cast magic balls of energy down upon her foes, though she was sure to conserve enough energy to charge the blood.

Allister bowed slightly and moved slightly downwards, a meter or 2 away from Neria's position. As was expected, the Ranger had momentarily lost his concentration with Neria's wink. No loss though, since the Ranger would not be needed for now. The Chessmaster and Builder were all making their own Theories concerning Neria, and The Saint was fixing up any more flaws in the plan. He left them alone just as The Chessmaster and The Saint were drafting the Final Plan.

Calculations given by the Builder had given the rough estimate for the activation of the blood. In a way, this entire thing was also a test for Neria. To test just how strong her Magic really is. Though she has no reason to really suspect, and even if she DID suspect it as a test. She would either Fail at the test, or try to deceive it. Both of which would enact bloody consequences. If she failed, purposefully, while Jason and Sevink were running towards our position, there's a possibility that they would die. For Jason at least, that would be permissible. But if Sevink goes as well, then the last male who actually believes her dies. She will have no support, and i will have an Advantage to her. If we actually survive the Horde of Darkspawn of course.

On the other hand, deceiving would be even more beneficial to me. How will she cheat? The Moment the Blood is charged, I can look at the fibers of magic within. It is unlikely that she could possibly change the nature of her magic during a battle, but even so, she will be throwing her magic into the Blood. Where I rule supreme. Her Manipulations of her nature would have to be Perfect. If otherwise, I could easily see into her attempts.

Allister smiled, quite certain that all the loopholes were closed. He proceeded to slice his hand, letting the blood ooze out. He then started to create strange symbols of Bloodmagic, in preparation for the Explosion later.

Jason kept cutting down Darkspawn, two of his apprentices already downed and taken back to the cave by the human apprentice. Jason and Sevink were the only ones left below fighting darkspawn while others from the cave shot down darkspawn from afar. The mental message sent by Allister was recognized and Jason nodded, looking back and seeing only Neria firing off missiles.

"Sevink, keep it up... it shouldn't be hard for you." Jason called, seeing a brief glimpse of Sevink drenched in blood and laughing as he cut down Darkspawn after Darkspawn.

Sevink just laughed, almost screaming as he did so.HE replied bys shouting "FOREVER IN ARMS!" at the top of his voice and decapitating a large amount of darkspawn in a singe cleave. He was enjoying himself a lot.He would occasionally flip open his helmet to bite the head off a hurlock. He relished battle,he relished slaughter,he loved it with every bone in his body, and with his muscles and organs. It was just so fun!

Allister was weaving together the strands of Magic that would be needed for the Magical Explosion. The Builder had taken the specifics and timing of the event. The Chessmaster had given him a way to turn whatever happens here to Allister's advantage. The Ranger, who had recovered from earlier, would help control any instabilities that would occur. Lastly, The Saint would insure that the Explosion would react exactly as planned.

The Bloodmage looked around him. There was a Blood Red sigil underneath his feet, slowly writhing like a possessed Mortal. Red Light was softly emanating from it, and bathing Allister in a soft, Crimson glow. A portion of his Blood would be used to jump start the explosion. The Magic from Neria would simply serve as the Fuel, Allister's power would act as the Spark. His remaining Mana reserves were on guard for any unexpected magical backlash. He was as prepared as he could be.

The Bloodmage shouted at Neria "Whenever you're Ready!"

As a shout was heard from overhead, a large mass of muscle and armor jumped over the ledge towards Jason and Sevink. A loud thud and Sevink was sent spiraling back up to the cave mouth, still alive but dazed and his armor partly crushed.

Jason turned around just in time to see a dark mass above him swing down with its fists. Horns were sticking out of its head and large fangs protruded from its mouth. An ogre...

Jason ducked to the side and looked up at the ledge Allister and the others were on. The three apprentices jumped down to aid Jason, landing around him and stabbing their blades into the ogres flanks.

"Allister!!! Collapse the mountain... We will find another way to you, head deeper in NOW!!!" Jason shouted, jumping down a ledge and bringing his sword down at the Emissary to distract him. The other three apprentices continued fighting the ogre.

As Neria swirled her hands, a purple aura surrounding them, she heard and felt, the ground tremor and was distracted as she gazed down to see a huge creature attacking the others.

Ignoring the orders Jason barker she resumed her spell, summoning all the magical energy the fade would afford her and the little extra that mother channelled her way. But something was wrong, the energy most commonly summoned from mother was not coming and they were running out of time.

Her eyes went wide as she realised what was going on, mother had ceased channelling because she had realised something Neria had not, Allister was playing her, trying to get her to show her 'other' powers once more and give him the advantage.

'Nice but it appears I have help now'

She didn't have time to consider a reprisal however, due to the Ogre that fought Sevink and the others, she needed to act but her energy was not enough to charge the magic.

Unless

She quickly turned, ran inside the cave once more and began to search for Ashalle, once she was located she ran up to her, affecting an air of desperation that wasn't entirely fake.

"Quickly, I must use one of your Lyrium potions, my reserves are low!"

Sevink slowly uncrumpled himself, letting a long "Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit".He stood up and revorvered his blade. He looked at the monster before him and grinned.
"Must be good eating on one of those."
He asked Jason what his orders were.

Allister blinked, taking in how the situation changed in a few seconds. Afterwards, he cursed again, learning just how screwed he was.

One, there was a Damn Big Ogre down there, going around and being an ass. Two, even if he managed to get the Blood Traps up and running, the Ogre would still be alive. Three, Neria had apparently catched onto the plan, since she had not charged the blood at this point. It would be unlikely to rely upon her for assistance. Four, Jason was still down there. If he blew up the Mountain, he would also be possibly be handing over the Key of Victory to Neria. Unacceptable. Lastly, the Magical Energy he had gathered was going to backfire on him.

The Bloodmagic was ready to create the 'spark', but there was no fuel. The power currently on hand would not be enough to rumble the mountain as Jason seemed to Naively believe. For that to happen, hr would need more blood as fuel. While there WERE a small amount of Darkspawn nearby, none of them would serve his needs. Bloodmagic was not like normal Fade magic that you could simply let go of the energy should you choose. No, in Bloodmagic, he had to send the damn thing. If he delayed, there was a high probability that a portion of his own blood would explode while still in his veins.

So, he could not stop the spell casting, or he would die. He couldn't go through with the spell casting, the piss ass weak spell wouldn't do shit against his opponents. So the only viable course is.....increase the power?

While he had been thinking, the Avatars had all been busy doing their own tasks. The Builder was recalculating the required resources to pull it off. The Chessmaster was thinking up of another way to bring Neria to her knees. The Saint was analyzing the battle and would recommend where to blow things up. The Ranger would watch over the Power output, keeping things in as near a constant level as possible.

Allister received the plans and scowled for a few moments. He looked around him and spotted only a few Darkspawn coming his way. He expanded his awareness, pushing it to the length of the current battlefield. He brutally took control of the nearby Darkspawn and forced them to gather at the 9 points around him. Ideally, a spell like this would require 15 humans worth of blood. He had no idea how a Darkspawn would affect things though, so this was the best he had.

The Bloodmage began to siphon off the blood from the 9. Once the blood was all gone, then the spell would activate. At the same time, his blood began to siphon out of him as well. He had no idea what Neria was planning, or if she even had a plan at all, but to rely upon her now would be foolish. He could not expect her to come to his aide, not right now. So he was stacking everything he had on this spell. Allister smiled slightly. The spell at it's current strength would not be enough to wipe out the Darkspawn. If however, Neria would join her powers to his, then they could succeed.

The Bloodmage shooked his head from his wanderings and kept on casting. The ground began to crack and shatter as the Magic began to grow even stronger. As the ground began to shake, Deep Crimson light could be seen through the cracks.

Sevink looked up,then jumped a few feet and ran away from where he believed the landslide would go.He ran towards Jason, believing him to have the common sense needed to evade the mass of falling rocks coming towards them.HE screamed mentally insane his mind.

Jason saw the glow from the cave mouth and jumped down to another ledge below that had an overhang. Before he jumped, he kicked the Emissary in the chest sending it sprawled back down the cliff. The other three apprentices followed Jason and so did Sevink.

Ashalle flipped open her stachel and pulled out a lyrium potion. Quickly running her eyes over the contents, she frowned. There was less left than she had thought. She handed it to Neria, before heading out of the cave to try and see if she could aid in the battle.

Neria gratefully took the potion from Ashalle and downed it in a quick tip of the wrist. It felt odd, she had not used Lyrium since she was training, Mother had channelled all the magical power she could ever want and more!

She let the Lyrium do its work, spreading around her body and drawing more energy from the fade to her. It took a while to get used to it, this energy was no-doubt weaker but somehow more, for lack of a better word, fizzy.

'No time to appreciate the feelings now!'

She spun on her heel and ran out of the cave, sprinting until she resumed her position a couple of meters from Allister.

"Ok, get ready!"

She moved her hands in a circular motion, as if rubbing some invisible ball, gathering the magic to her and bringing it into physical form. Soon she held a large blue ball in front of her but only for a second, for once it was fully charged she hurled it down the hill and into the pool of blood, charging it partially.

She hurled two more and soon it was ready, the blood seemed alive with blue sparks, she looked to Allister and nodded, sending him a mental message as she did so.

'Do your thing, big boy'

The Litany required for the spell's activation was interrupted with Allister's ragged coughing. A damp and sickly bark that seemed as though the Bloodmage's lungs were filled with fluid. But still, Allister stood. His entire visage bathed in Crimson light, the battlefield from his position seemed tinged with red. He glanced to the side, and saw his Organic Batteries lying on the ground. Slowly Dying from the sheer amount of Pressure and Blood loss that the spell required. One of them was still standing, it had been one of the few that had tried to resist The Bloodmage's Puppet Control. He looked at Allister's eyes then, it's own filled with Hatred, Spite and.....Fear. The fear of an Animal that was about to die, and could do nothing about it. The Bloodmag's face was impassive as he saw as It's of Blood was taken from him and the creature keeled over and died.

Allister suddenly coughed even more violently, blood spilling from his mouth. 'The Strain from the spell was turning lethal too quickly' Allister thought absent mindedly as he saw the blood that had left his body enter the ground, joining the rest of It's kin. The Bloodmage knew that without any assistance, his body was likely to shut down. Use of Bloodmagic to spread his remaining Blood to the Impoverished centers of his body will have to be used until the crisis was past. Allister didn't like the Idea one bit.

'Do your thing, big boy'

Allister blinked as he heard Neria's voice. He had not been expecting that, not at all. He was expecting her to leave him to die after casting the spell, or at the very least allow him to waste all his power on the spell. The fact that she had, apparently, charged the blood for him was....unexpected. But not an unpleasant one. He resumed the spell, speaking with a voice filled with Confidence in his abilities.

Lasolidaridad haruk Asviryuk Enumavalik Bandukaelish asduka Shinsekai Lovarick bukai van lumanias baruktzeentchia no Kami da.

He dimly saw the blood underneath the ground spread. It had been collecting under the Bloodmage's feet since the start of the spell. Now, it rushed forth, away from the Bloodmage. The Majority of the blood went to the masses of Darkspawn, in an effort to give Sevink and Jason enough time to run. While the remainder would collect at a point just above Jason and Co. The Blood would collect under the Darkspawn's feet and explode. The Sheer amount of Force caused by the Shockwave would create a cascade effect for the remainder of the Blood. By that time, Jason and the others would probably have passed that point already. The explosion from there would create a large landslide, ceasing any attempts by the Darkspawn to come after them.

He stood for a moment, no more than 5 seconds, allowing the remaining blood to spread throughout his body. Within those 5 seconds, queries from his Avatars started popping up. Allister silenced them immediately to allow him time to think. Why did she save him? To garner sympathy? Probably. But she should know about the trap now. Even if she didn't use the full extent of her skill, I could still infer several things from them. She had undoubtedly been practicing her skills for a reasonable amount of time. One does not simply erase all that time with a flick of the wrist. So why? Does she believe my sympathy would be enough in exchange for a possible clue to her powers? Even now, the data is there. Waiting to be analyzed. So why? It would have best assisted Neria's cause if I died a Heroic Death, saving the others from what was undoubtedly a death trap. So why?

Once those 5 seconds were up, he quickly started moving to Neria. He spoke to her, in a soft whispering tone "Come, we must go. The Explosion will initiate soon. It would be best if we left this place." Without listening to her reply, The Bloodmagus moved quickly to the cave, trusting Neria not to stab him in the back at this point in time. He started coughing again, and briefly wondered if the Cough would stay.

"Agreed"

Neria followed after Allister silently, assessing his posture, gait and demeanour but overall knowing that he was off balance.

'Good, let him stay that way'

She entered the cave and leant against one of the walls of its mouth, watching Jason, Sevink and the others as they belted up the hill, away from the impending explosion.

The cave mouth were the recruits was sealed off by Allister's rock slide. Sealed off in the darkness and nowhere to go but deeper into the caves.

Jason bolted away from the rock slide, finding a safe place a distance away. He watched as the others caught up to him, and the darkspawn being crushed by the rocks. The emissary had no way to stop the rockslide and was sent tumbling back down into the forest as well.

"Hly crp" Laurence shouted seeing the the cave entrance collapse.

Seeing only pitch black, Laurence closed his eyes and started relying on his other sense's.
Being further back in the cave, Laurence made his way slowly to the sealed entrance. Using one of his daggers, Laurence hit the rock's lightly. Listening to the echo it made, he made his way forward.
Thinking he was close to the entrance he called, "Any one alive?"
