The Bloodmage cursed softly. He wasn't suited to Battlefield level close combat. As such, he had to reach higher ground before he would reach any significant trouble. His Avatars were doing the Intellectual Equivalent of an All Night Cramming session, running this way and that. The Chessmaster was working on the Neria problem. The Builder was certain that the Emissary was the one that needed to die. The Saint was formulating tactics to burn as large a group of Darkspawn as humanly possible. The Ranger was keeping his emotions in check, his fear, anger, etc. All being monitored by him.
Allister smiled slightly. Just like old times.
He was currently standing on a slight precipice, observing Jason and Sevink's charge. Neria was farther upwards, not really doing anything of significance. Though that was to be expected. Suddenly, 3 Darkspawn which had apparently been trying to sneak into the Cave where Neria was, attempted to jump him.
The Bloodmage signaled dismissively, which was the signal for the Blood Trap he had set nearby to explode violently below their legs. As the Scraps of meat started falling, Allister rolled his eyes at the predictability of the Darkspawn. If Jason and Sevink kept at it, there would be enough blood spilt to blow off this portion of the Mountain. As well as the Majority of the Darkspawn. The Bloodmage had sent a mental message to Jason, explaining what he would do. Basically, they would keep fighting until a signal is lit. Which would come from a magical discharge at the cave. From there, the Mages would throw Magical Energy downward, allowing the 2 to escape. The Magical energy from the blasts would charge the Blood already spilt, allowing Allister more direct control over them. The Emissary would be too busy at the fact of several magical fireballs falling at their heads to notice, so they would die. Or most them anyway.
This was also one the reasons that Allister was climbing back towards the cave, to tell Neria of this plan. Of course, he COULD have sent her a Magical Message to her mind. But that wasn't part of the scenario. Eventually he reached Neria and said "While I am quite sure that you are enjoying the battle, i'm afraid that this battle will have to end soon."
