Ashalle sighed and pinched her fingers together, extinguishing the fire. "Very well. You can play your games, blood mage, but I will be watching you." She leant back against one of the crates and turned her attention back to the man who had ridden down from the fort.

"Well we have that much in common then don't we Spirit Healer? But still, don't worry on betrayal. I have every intention of gaining the power of the Grey Wardens. You need not fear betrayal from me. As Allister turned his attention to the Reaver beside him, he answered his question "Well, since this wouldn't be a Test unless we killed something, we'll probably need to make Corpses soon enough." True Enough, they'll need to see us in Action before they decide to do anything with us.

Neria turned her attention to the minor confrontation occurring behind her and was unsurprised to see the Bloodmage, still hard at work alienating himself from the others.

She approached Ashalle, put a comforting hand on her shoulder and spoke to her in a warm, quiet voice.

"You and me both Elven sister"

In truth she didn't have a problem with the Bloodmage. Infact he was, strangely, the one that repulsed her the least, not that he had much competition of course. She had decided that trying to 'win him over' in a private talk later, would be the best course of action.

''Well my dwarven friend, that is a noble cause indeed. Though I would want to discuses with you this idea of a purpose on a later time. Ooh and my liege, I agree with my dwarven friend here. Is there any food of drink to be had before why go? I have travelled for some time and my supplies are very low.'' Laurence said while slinging his guitar on his back and getting of the boat.

"Turn out those lights fool, the darkspawn will see us." Jason hissed, glaring at the mage.

"As for all your questions, yes we will feed shortly. A banquet is being held in your honor up at the fort. You will be able to drink as much as you please, and eat to your hearts content."

Damnish never had such joy for eating, but when he heard the word "banquet" his tears began watering. Damn couldn't help but drop his hammer and crawl towards the man. "Bless ye, *sniff* bless ye kind heart! I haven't had a meal or a drink in 3 moons!"

Oh, I noticed a typo in my age. Instead of 42 I typed 24... Mind editing it in the OP?

"Excellent,I shall feast happily."
He slightly, the cold of the night creeping into his armour,he reconsidered the intelligence of his denying the option of padding the insides of his armour with warm wool and cloth.

"Do not worry, you will feast well tonight... all of you. Come now, those at the fort await you. I know you are all anxious about joining the Wardens, but those details can wait until another day. Tonight you enjoy yourselves, tomorrow we will send you on a small quest you must accomplish in order to join the Wardens." Jason said, backing away from the dwarf and walking back to his horse. He mounted it and motioned for the others to began walking up to the fort.

"I am sorry i did not bring down more horses, but that would have proved to difficult to control them all."

A horse nickered behind Jason as man spoke up."Glad I brought my own." His outfit of light armour suggested he wasn't a knight however the blades he had sheathed on his back did suggest a swordsman. "So are these my companions Jason?" The man said, his violet eyes shifting to each of them. "Is it too much to ask for one, Mabari Hound?" He turned with a light smile on his lips, but they didn't hold warmth of any kind towards the others. Like the others he had not gone through initiation to become a Grey Warden. Lord Darius Ania, raised by the Dalish for most of his life, he held a certain, mysticism that others elves had and his violet eyes seem to show a wit unlike most nobles whom remained drunken and stupefied about the events around them. A man whom had raised a family and should simply had stayed home but decided to defend his realm in hopes that they would slay this dark force. "My name is Darius and it's a pleasure to meet all of you." He gave a bow on his horse as he eyed his group. He had arrived a day before the group and had already made himself familiar with the camp. "Shall we then?" He asked turned his chestnut coloured horse around and began with a slow walk.

"If you would lead the way."
Sevink bowed slightly before the man and got ready to follow, removing his helmet so eh wouldn't trip over anything. He began to wonder what he was allowed to eat and what he wasn't allowed to eat,and what there would be at the banquet, and how much he should drink.

''If I may ask my liege, but what is your name?'' Laurence asked the nobleman on the chestnut coloured horse.

mmm he is different for any other noble I have met and there is something off about him. This one need watching.

''Also lord Jason, have I heard that right? What is that talk about dimming the light? There are a lot of Grey Wardens here. Why should we be afraid of, what did you called them. Darkspawn?''

Darius slowed the horse down as he went beside Laurence. "I am Darius Ania, bastard son of Lord Mathias Wyvern." He said ever with a calm smile. "And please do not call me liege, we are all comrades against these Darkspawn." Although his own treasury indeed fund the Grey Wardens, he also made a deal with the warden for his family not to be conscripted into battle, whilst his eldest son was merely 12, he already shown talent for the bow and his daughter was ever trying to be like her father. "A reaver? I have fought beside reavers once before, a dragon had attacked an ally of mine, when they were mining, it seemed to awoke the beast up." He said pausing to remember the events. "By time we gotten there, all that remained was a single warrior, Thanatos, he wielded a large axe and was defending the remains of the mining party, when I managed to enforce my presence, Sir Thanatos, took the surprise and sliced the dragon's head clean off...tis a pity that it did not had laid it's eggs, I would have liked to cultivated the eggs and raise my own dragons..but at least the Grey Wardens have Griffons we can use." Darius mused with a smile.

Jason stopped his horse, turning to face Laurence the recruit. He eyed him warily and closed his eyes.

"Yes, they are Darkspawn... and you are not yet Grey Wardens... you are recruits. Have you even seen the destruction the Darkspawn can cause? Entire villages burned to the ground, helpless victims being dragged underneath the ground for god knows what..." Jason said, glaring at Laurence, "Turn the light off before they see us. All of them in a hundred mile radius will storm this island, burning our fortress to the ground."

Damnish scrapped himself off the ground, picked up his hammer and started pacing behind the mounted men.

"Do not be so careless when it comes to darkspawn my friend.' He said while turning his attention to Laurence "If the sayings are true, and these wile demons have left their home inside the Deep Roads, we all are in terrible peril. Darkspawn numbers are far greater then you can imagine, seas of darkspawn have been seen gathering at the great abyss deep inside the Deep Roads, far bigger then any river or sea you've seen. For centuries my race has fought these demons valiantly to reclaim our lost honor, but no amount of fighting can quell these insurmountable numbers. Also I've heard tales of a demon, so great that it controls these wicked creatures, but can one entity be controlling such an amount of darkness? I have yet to believe it so.

EDIT: OH GOD DAMN IT ALL, by the time I was typing this babble 2 posts sprung up? Madness!

'That fills me with confidence about this order'

"Indeed, the Darkspawn are a seemingly unstoppable force, I have seen their destruction with my own eyes, however I have yet to meet one in combat"

There was a darkness in her voice as she spoke but not one of fear but a slight reverence. Neria quickly recovered from the falter and quickly got back into character.

"I'm sure they couldn't burn the fortress down, not with such big men as yourselves guarding it"

She let out another small giggle and proceeded up the hill and towards the fortress, all the while maintaining the air of intrigue and promise she projected naturally now.

" I did not say that we were already Grey Wardens my lord. I just thought with us being so close to the fortress, they would not seem like a problem. Unfortunaly I have only heard story's and rumors about them and most of them have been told by some one who has heard it from another. If I had to believe half of them, the Darkspawn whould be a army of a billion strong and already be at the gate. So my apologies, for my ignorance of the Darkspawn."

"I thank you for your compliment. Come, everyone follow me to the fort." Jason called out to the group, sending his horse back into a walk up the slope.

"And there is no need to apologize, but i have seen many villagers burn due to Darkspawn." Jason told Laurence.

Sevink looked at Neria,slightly confused.
Did she just act like a giggling school-girl?
He shrugged and almost ran forward, his belly hungrily,if it wasn't for all his armour he probably would've gotten there faster than the mounted among them.
