Looking around for another bottle of wine, Laurence spotted Ashalle sitting at one of the table's.

"Would you mind if I tested this bottle of wine?" Laurence said while taking the bottle and testing it.

"By the Maker, I thought Elf's where know for there exquisite taste. I wouldn't even give this to my cat, even if I had one." Laurence said while spitting out the wine.
Finally spotting some one off the staff, he called him over.
"My dear fellow, do you happen to have a Chardonnay from the Wildervale? I would like to show to my elven friend here, what great wine's they make there." Laurence asked him.

Firstly, sorry I haven't posted inna while, writers block ARGH! Secondly, I'm going away this weekend and I probably won't be able to post until Sunday evening (around this time, maybe later). Sorry If it inconveniences anybody, don't hold back on talking to Neria however, I'll post something massive on Sunday to react to whatever happens

Ashalle looked up in surprise as Laurence took the wine and tasted it. "Is it really that bad?" She looked down at her glass, moving it gently and watching the contents swirl around. "We never had much in the way of wine in the clan, so I guess I can't tell good wine from bad." She looked up at Laurence as he called for more wine. He's certainly not what I've come to expect from humans. He seems much more...honest than most.

"It's a pity. Seems I'm so used to the elf's in the city and there taste's, I thought it was the same for your people. My apology's for that." Laurence told here.

"Aah thank you for the bottle, her is a tip." Laurence gets the bottle handed to him, and gives a couple of copper to him.

"Here, I will show you how to taste wine. I learned it form the father of my best friend. She was a elf you know. First you pour a little bit in to the glass, know smell it, swirl your glass a bit. See how the wine makes tears on the glass. Know smell it again, know take a little sip, let it... how can I best say this, wash over your tongue before swallowing it." Laurence showed Ashalle.

Allister was slowly sipping wine, mind focused on other matters. He saw the Spirit Magus' conversations with the Bard, conversing about wine apparently. Hmm.....is it code? Are they saying something in covert tongue so as to confuse and redirect? Perhaps they already knew each other from a different date? No, unlikely. They're not speaking in a completely comfortable manner. The Spirit Magus's surprise also gave it away. But what if that is also a trick? To get observers into a comfortable state?....Well, it currently does not matter. If they plot, it will be revealed in due time.

He was slightly amused with the Archon Magus' attempts at flattering the Wardens. He shrugged and let her continue her work, even if he had reason to be angry, he wouldn't be able to stop her anyway. If worse comes to worst, he could always blemish her reputation and make her seem like a lying deceiving *****, which she was, but with the Wardens knowing about it. From there.....well, he Really had to make sure she was dead if that ever happened. If the evidence he would find was false, he needed the witnesses to die. If true, then he would have to defend himself from her wrath, and taking down the Spirit Magus would be easier, seeing as the Worst Case Scenario would thus be avoided.

Finished with his wine, and eating a token amount of food, he excused himself from the table. He retreated to a shadowy corner of the room and pulled out one of his spell books. It was entitled 'The Deeper Mysteries of the Blood Part 3', which he had ripped away from the corpse of a fellow Blood Mage a week before he was captured. While the Fallen Blood Game was not as powerful or as skilled as Allister was, He had knowledge to spells that he himself did not. So Allister began to study the book, noting the spells contained within. He placed his staff on his shoulder, making it's glass sphere on the top closer to the ground. Allister whispered a word of magic and the Staff bathed his Lap in Crimson Light. Since all Blood Mages were hunted, their scrolls were disguised with spells only others of their kind could read. Settling in, he begun to read the Arcane mysteries of the book, absorbed in his studies, he ignored the sounds of merriment from the Wardens and his companions.

"Yes, yes I really have to go.........Well aren't you sweet......Perhaps we may talk later....Alright bye"

Neria excused herself from the crowd of Wardens she had immersed herself in. It would be good to have them on her side if she ever needed to use them, for her own purposes or otherwise. She walked over to Jason, who she assumed was the senior Warden among them.

'Senior in the loosest sense of the word'

"I would like to retire for the evening, can you direct me to my quarters?" she asked, letting her gaze of him linger for a moment too long and then looking away with feigned embarrassment.

Allister yawned and was slightly annoyed with his body as it failed him. He knew that sleep was growing inevitable and decided to retire to his quarters. He picked up his things and slowly began to walk towards the Warden that Neria, no the Archon Magus was talking to. He slapped himself mentally, No, you CAN'T afford to be familiar with them Magus. They'll kill you once the opportunity presents itself. ESPECIALLY Ner- the Archon Magus.

He stood beside the Archon Magus and spoke to the Warden in a polite tone, guessing that he was the senior among them, "Excuse me good sir, but I have noticed that the Hour is late. As my body fails me, may I ask where our quarters are?"

Ashalle did as Laurence told her, tasting the flavour of the wine. She raised her eyebrows in surpirse at how different it tasted from what she had been drinking before. She set the glass down and said, "I never knew drinking wine could be so complex." She looked round at Laurence. "And where are you from where city elves are known for their good tastes? Most elves in the cities are forced to live in the alienage slums."

Jason looked over to Neria, "Follow me and i will direct all new recruits to their quarters!"

Jason called out over the crowd, all new recruits gathered around him, finishing up wines and ales that they had been drinking. Jason nodded at the assembled group and motioned for them to follow him up the stairs. On the top floor, were nearly 16 rooms, all bedrooms. Jason began giving the recruits their assigned rooms, starting with Neria. He gave her the room nearest to the stairs which included a balcony. Then came Ashalle, she had the only other room with a balcony besides his own. the rest of the rooms he let the other recruits squabble over.

He retreated from the crowd to his own quarters, the last door on the left. He opened it, and inside was a very comfy bed and a small table sitting in front of a fireplace. A balcony was on the right side of the room and the doors to it stood wide open. The book he had been reading before going and getting the recruits was still opened on a chair beside the table. He unbuckled his sword and bow, placing them on a weapons rack inside his room. He then went out onto the balcony, taking in the view of the lake and the fresh air.

You are free to choose what is inside your room, except i have a few limits. Nothing to personal as you just became residents of the fort, and no balconies other than those two rooms i gave to Neria and Ashalle.

The door closed with a muted thud and she was alone for the first time that evening. It had certainly been interesting, to say the least.

Intersting, yet productive

It was true, tonight she had made the first steps on her road to power and even these steps were crucial. The Wardens, while not charmed, were certainly intrigued and it would be simple to 'win them' once she was properly inducted into the order.

Her fellow party members were proving harder to control, Sevink was the most co-operative but Allister was a nuisance, still he didn't know her true motives and so would not pose a threat. At least she had thought so, during the feast she had many a time seen him staring at her, seemingly wrapped up in his own little schemes and plots. No, that paranoid little man would be a problem but she would deal with him in time.

Neria pushed the dark, plotting thoughts from her mind and attended to her nightly chores. She unstrapped her armour and hung it on a conveniently provided dummy, set her shield carefully against the wall and lay her sword, still in its scabbard, by the bed.

Once she was done she proceeded out onto her balcony, where she stood wearing nothing but a thin night gown her mother had made for her. It was a beautiful skirt, made from the finest silks her master could afford, it left her chest bare but that was hardly a problem for one such as Neria.

She gazed out onto the still lake, it looked so tranquil and even beautiful. The moon shining perfectly off its waters and illuminating the surrounding land. It wasn't the Imperium but it still held its own beauty. She stood and relaxed for a time, soaking in the rays of moonlight and drinking in the beauty of the tranquil scene below her.

'One day this shall all be mine. I shall do this for you mother, I swear'

She finished gazing upon the lake, blew out the remaining candles with a swish of her hand and retired to bed. The next day awaited and it would surely be busy.

Wow I cant believe it took this long to get here lol, great job of keeping the RP together Pyro but can I recommend we find a replacement for Ta2ce? Thanks for providing the beggining of what will surely be a great RP.

@The others: Could we hurry with the bedtime preparations? I'm itching to show Allister what a danger Neria is on the battlefield :D

Sevink looked through the various doors into the rooms, booting anyone who tried to get in absent mindedly in the family jewels. When he finally found one he liked he let out a satified "Ahhhh" as and he walked into the room and popped the buckles on his armour, revealing multiple glowing red scars and tally marks cut into the flesh as they fell to the floor. If anyone cared to count they'd reach 172,024,all pulsating and whispering gently. When he had removed all his armour he lay on the bed and closed his eyes.Thinking about the people he had met that day,and mostly about Neria. He soon slipped into a calm sleep.

Everywhere there was blood, with even more bodies.Various people who looked like Sevink were feasting on them. One was hungrily ripping into its meal with a expression of joyful malice. It's mouth was nothing more than a thousand toothed maw.
Another poked it's meal sadly,it was more human than even the real Sevink,it's teeth were those of normal humans and it's lips were thicker,it bore no scars.Another was simply sitting and watching the others,it's mouth was stitched shut and it's eyes were full of envy.Sevink looked around the various clones and rubbed them on the head one by one, giving them huge slabs of bloody meat.
"How are my boys doing?"
The monstrous one grunted happily, the human one replied with a simple "Fine" and the one with it's mouth stitched shut let loose a muffled scream.Sevink smiled and sat on a throne.Surveying the broken wasteland that was his mind happily,he wouldn't have had it any other way.
"Eat up,that's brain food y'know."

Have patience my friend :D We have plently of time, besides Neria isn't as well characterised as I'd like her to be for a major reveal such as what I have planned.

Allister nodded towards the Warden and entered his room. Once the door closed, he immediately searched the entire room for Assassins or Poison. Finding none, he relaxed a bit and made preparations. He pulled out his knife and cut his hand with it, drawing blood. After a few seconds, he wiped his hand on the Door frame. After saying a few words in blood magic, he created the spell that would keep guard over the door. Anyone who would enter the room would wish that the spell killed them first before Allister would get to them.

The Bloodmage sighed How long has it been? A day? A day and a half from when I last entered my Lab? Again, the world proves that Change never Changes. Things will always move, and spin, and transform. What matters is that we manipulate the Change into something beneficial. That I have done. I will become a Warden, or Die, and becoming a warden is already a kind of death I believe. That.....Presence in their blood. It is not natural. It seems to have been.....injected into their bloodstream. If my Hypothesis is true, we will simply be living on borrowed time. Our Lifespans cut in half. If we're lucky......I certainly hope the payoff from that sacrifice is worth it.

He focused his eyes on his staff. A fine staff it was. It had assisted him in his Quests and Spells for over 5 years now. He chuckled at the memory of how he got it. I wonder if those fools at the Circle are STILL looking around for it. Probably not, though there are probably still some fool Magi trying to hunt me down. He placed his staff on the chair near his bed. The Staff magically rightened itself to a leaning position on the chair, It's red light dimming. Allister closed his eyes as he started to meditate.

qwezcsezreq vxveqry wewwythfy fwhrywtbj avretzeentchah awgrcfybxw qwbuywb vaenurglehrubbc aefvrakhkhornevae fseslaneeshver

Allister's mind looked back in time. He still remembered it, even after all these years. He entered the Barn and asked 'Brother where are you? No reply. NO get out of there you fool! He entered, slowly creeping, believing something was wrong but not knowing what it was RUN! run as fast as you can! You're brother is GONE! DEAD! Still he continued. He started hearing a sound akin of a man drowning. A man's last breath before succumbing to poison. Leave. Leave NOW. You do not need to see this. He found his brother, lying in a fetal Position, lying in the Shit and Piss of the Barn Animals. No...don't go... He touched his brother's shoulder and asked 'Brother? are you all right?' His brother looked at him. His eyes empty, his skin rotting, his meat showing. His brother smiled.

Allister suppressed a scream as he woke up from his meditation. What came out instead what a High pitched wine. He vainly suppressed his tears and tried to limit his sobs to within the room. He started muttering "If I was stronger......he could....have been saved......I was weak....I was his elder brother DAMN IT." The room shook with power at his pronouncement. But the Staff on his chair suppressed the Magical discharge to only those who could hear it. He continued "If i had been as STRONG as I am NOW, he wouldn't have DIED. If i had this power, he wouldn't have done the things he did. Everyone would STILL BE ALIVE! My Parents. My Siblings. ALL OF THEM WOULD STILL BE ALIVE!" The rooms started to shake with Magical Energy. The Objects within twisting into unnatural shapes. But outside, the Warden tasked with guarding the floor the recruits were in could hear nothing. The Bloodmage suppressed anymore signs of emotion and, after 30 minutes, chuckled at himself. Sharp as steel, mocking himself at his weakness. THAT the guard could hear, albeit subconsciously due to the Bloodmage's Staff suppressing It's owner's mental breakdown, making sure it did not leave the room. He shivered with dread, and he didn't know why.

"Stupid little Idiot. What are you, some overemotional teenager? They are dead. Gone. They have no more pull in your Life. They no longer matter." He said to himself. Convincing himself that it should no longer affect him. Still, when he fell asleep, he wept until he fell into an uneasy sleep.

Ashalle entered her room and pulled the door closed gently behind her. She held her hand againt the door and created a weak shield spell over the door. Not strong enough to keep someone determined enough out, but strong enough to alert her if anyone tried. She paused after she had done so and looked at her hand. Why did I feel the need to do that? Probably because of Allister. I can't be too careful with him around. She shrugged and turned around. She set her staff down on her bed and walked to the balcony, leaning on the rail and gazing out over the lake. The moonlight glistened off the calm surface of the water and a slight smile played over her lips as Ashalle thought about how the calmness belied the turmoil of the world. Not only the darkspawn, but even the frictions within the group of Grey Wardens she now found herself in. It would definitely be interesting to see how they all worked together in the coming battles. She yawned, only just realising how tired she really was. She left the balcony and walked over to the bed. She pulled off her outer layers of her clothing and lay down on the bed, closing her eyes and quickly drifting off to sleep.

The same old dream was back again. Trees burning, people screaming as their own blood was turned against them and burnt them to ashes. Ashalle reached out and ice erupted from her hands, rolling across the earth in waves and extinguishing the fires. A figure, shrouded in darkness and holding a bloody dagger in their hand, laughed and ran their weapon across the throat of an elderly man. As the blood poured out, it seemed to take on a life of it's own, twisting through the air and destroying all the magic that flowed from Ashalle and her allies. She screamed, "I won't let you do this!" and redoubled her efforts, putting all her strength into her attack. The blood mage gasped and began to buckle under the unexpected strength of her attack. He had been too reckless with his use of his own power and could no longer resist her. He crumpled as her magic washed over him and lay broken on the ground. She stood over his broken body and around her over half her clan dead. Tears welled in her eyes as she looked at the blood mage's lifeless face. She fell to her knees and felt the tears run down her face as she sobbed...

Her eyes opened and she found herself back in her room in the Grey Warden's fortress. Her body was covered in a cold sweat and her heart was racing. She had been having the dream more and more frequently and it always left her the same wreck. She rose from the bed and walked back to the balcony. She sighed as she felt the cool night breeze wash over her.

"I'm sorry my dear, I will tell you another time about where I grew up. Know if you don't mind, I have been travelling for several days and I can't pass a chance to sleep in a comfy bed." He told Ashelle

"Oooh fck, kjfufuff" Laurence cursed after getting hit in the family jewels by Sevink. What is that guys problem, fck iwugegydafa

After getting in to his room, Laurence started checking what's in his room.
Mmmm, just your basic room. Mirror, stool, table, dressior, a big bed? Well that's a surprise.
Let's see what's to see outside.

Laurence looks outside off the window and observes everything he see off the courtyard and the walls outside.

Tricky to scale the wall, but doable. Men on the rampant and the towers. Ballista's and catapults also. Tight security and it seems they change there patrol route each time also. There very good these grey wardens, but it's still doable to get out and to get inside again if needed.
Well time for some sleep.

After laying down on his bed, Laurence started thinking about the different people he had met today and who would become his companions.
Allister, the blood mage. That's a dangerous one, using blood to cast spells and not even his own blood. Neria, see is very pleasant to look at. But I don't know much about here. The reavers are all just barbaric. Darius, a lord. But not like any lord I know. Jason, he seems to by in charge off the grey wardens here. Ashelle, she isn't that bad. Maybe I can show here that not all humans are bad. Mmm she reminds my off Shella. I still don't know what happened to here. Maybe she has heard about here. Laurence thought while looking at the medallion she once wore, before drifting in to sleep.
