Wasn't there a Budoki (Or however you spell it) game that was actually pretty good? Or am I thinking of another series?

The Boudakai Tenkaichi (or something) series were okay.

Long story short, it should have ended on the Cell saga like it was supposed to originally. And don't even remind me about the movies, so...awful...-shudders- I had no problem with Dragon Ball but GT was just piss poor.

I would have to say the games stood up for themselves for awhile but now this has gotten ridiculous, what are we on now? Like Dragon Ball Z Tenkaichi Budokai 4??? When will they learn?
The series was good for awhile but they have pretty much done what Lucas Arts has done with Star Wars .

And no Dragon Ball Kai is not a continuation of the already existing DB storyline. It is essentially DBZ the way it was meant to be, meaning no Cell or Buu sagas, and the fights and powerups are not hours long. It is the manga placed into episodes.

It will have all the sagas, actually. Sayain though to Buu, albeit three times shorter. (Was there really that much filler, though?)

Oh, I thought it was saiyan to Frieza. Well thats cool, I guess. So there won't be any Tournament of the Dead, or Garlic Jr. It's just going to be the manga straight into episodes. That's cool.

Because the episode limit hit over 9000...I know that joke is old but anyway the show just hit it's limit there's really no better explanation. Although I could see them trying to start the series again they are in the sell out phase of owning a franchise. But I never watched the show so I'm not sure I know for sure why it stopped.

Dragonball 'Z' was good, everything after that kinda sucked. But hey, it's anime. It was to be expected. I'd say watch those good old episodes again, makes you feel nostalgic.

No Budokai was a pretty nice game series....
Sadly Dragon Ball GT kinda drove me away from the series for a while.

Original manga was great. TV show for said manga was great.
Z was good. TV show was good. Kai is good entry level for newcomers. Some movies are great (Worlds Strongest, Dead Zone, Fusion Reborn) Some are shit (Tree of Might, Return of Cooler, Bio Broly) and Evolution was a stain on anyone who dare watch it.
GT was piss poor over all.
Most of the games suck.
Budikai was awesome.

Don't deny it, you know this to be true.
You don't need to like Z, but don't let the shit of Z discourage you from the original series people, it's a great adventure manga.

And for the sake of it, the only "new" Dragon Ball Z stuff should be a middle story between Z and GT. About Goten and Trunks. That would be rad. It would be all fun and adventure like the first series. Even the HAAAAAAAAAAAAA poweruping stuff was good with Goten and Trunks. Galactic Donuts for EVERYONE.

Anyway dragonball is the most epic, dragonball z's saiyan/frieza/cell games saga's were good but then it went downhill until GT where it gets a bit better but not as good as dragonball.

Wow, I didn't realize people hated on Dragonball Z so much.

Well you know how the internet works. People will hate on ANYTHING that is popular. It doesn't matter if it's Halo, or Sony, or Dragonball Z. If it's widely known and/or semi-popular, it will have a large number of haters for no rational reason.

The 270ish episodes from DBZ are some of the best anime of all time. A few of the games were decent. Everything else is trash.
