I remember not long ago I had a dream that made me really sad: I was hanging out with my father somewhere in the city. It was completely normal, nothing irrealistic happened. Then I woke up, and realised that my father is actually dead.

The sadist thing was that this particular dream was actually a reality also. I don't see the need to divulge into details, but it was a horrible experience.

I used to like all the dreams I used to get. Now I can remember one dream every night, but they're all to complicated and depressing, and kind of dialogue-heavy. It's like being a two-year-old playing the stock market.

So I'm asleep and finding it really hard to keep up with my dreams :(.

What happened to the ones where I flew around and did cool stuff? I miss them.

Well, I thought it was kind of sad...

I once had a dream where I was at some sort of picnic - very frilly and pink - not my cup of tea. There was a polar-bear skin rug for some reason and some sort of Chihuahua talking to it in English. I looked away then back again and they had switched roles, the polar bear being plump and life-size again, and the dog being a rug.

The rest of the dream is fuzzy, but I woke up very upset by it.

Another one would be where I imagined getting the greatest game ever, that I'd ordered ages ago and had been waiting months for. The game was as awesome as hyped, and I loved every minute of it.

Then I woke up. I hadn't ordered any game. I wasn't going to be getting any. I did not have the greatest game in the world. I was sad.

Not long ago I had a dream about a friend of mine. I haven't spoken much with her in the past three years, but she's still a friend. I dreamt we were hanging out on a kind of mountain plateau with some huts and a river flowing through. There were other of my friends there as well. Then, in the middle of the dream some guy appeared, a really big and round guy, he moved around by rolling.. And he took my friends and buried them beneath a concrete slab.

Luckily everyone who were killed by him were dead or unconscious before they were buried. I didn't react at all to the people being killed and buried though. But when he killed and buried the friend I mentioned in the beginning of the post I got really sad. I went to the cabin in which she lived in hopes that she was still alive (I hadn't seen her be killed, only told). I was told by her best friend that she was in fact dead. I got really sad and started crying for a bit, before I started running towards where the fat guy was burying people. I was hoping to save her, but I ended up watching her be buried beneath wet cement, which dried really quickly. Then I was killed and buried, then I woke up. I was really sad when I woke up :(

I have a lot, but none that really stick out in my mind. But they're mostly when something awesome has happened (that didn't happen in real life), and I wake up and realize it was just a dream.

I had a dream I met one of my favorite artists, and when I woke up I was really excited for about 30 seconds. Then reality sank in.
I've also dreamt once that I abandoned/hurt my boyfriend. He was not my bf at the time, but a close friend. The horrific part was the dream appearing so real, like the first dream I told you about. I woke up in extreme guilt and it took me all day to shake it off.

I dreamed that my sister died, but I didn't know how or why. It was a really bad dream, and I woke up crying.

I hate good dreams more than bad ones, cause in a good dream you might get what you want, but than you wake up and it hits you. But a bad dream you wake up with that feeling of relief, cause whatever happened in your dream, didn't really happen

I had a dream where a man managed to break into our house and killed my parents and left. I woke up in the dream, and tried to get them to wake up but I couldn't.

Then I woke up. I was GLAD that never happened.

But I went to their bedroom just to check...

Something about my girlfriend's incredibly superior ex playfully elbowing me in the collarbone.

Most of my dreams tend to be sad.

Bordering creepy, it would have to be being obsessed with Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis to the point that I'm dreaming about being stuck behind a tree and unable to get past it. Sleepless nights indeed.

Sad dreams would have to be most of those that involve people I so desire to forget, that being both exes, terrible father, losing those dear to me, ect. The saddest one was one I had that painfully reminded me ( and sparked an ongoing obsession for about half a month ) of an ex that I had forgotten; he basically came to my door, and we got back together, and then I woke up and was sad.

The really romantic dreams, although being fantastic, remind me what real life is like. Waking up is a punch in the face after a dream like that. My hope has been rekindled though, so some day...some day...*starts daydreaming again*

A boy in my dream told me I was his favourite formation of moths, and that he was in love with my best friend.

I once had a dream, more weird than sad, where I was on a 3 day trip with my school. one of my close female friends was there, wich was weird because she didn't even go to my school. we came to the place where we were supposed to be and it was just a room with one big bed. a really big one, like in "A shot at love with Tila Tequila". everyone was paying close attention to the teacher and i looked away at my friend, who was at the other end of the bed, and she was making out with every single girl that was there. she's not gay and she has a boyfriend.

it kinda made me sad because she's a really pretty girl and it would be a real shame if she was gay. xD

I had a dream where I was floating through space, and I saw a giant battlecruiser filled with holes. It was venting oxygen and several corpses.

I then turned to see a giant black demonic ship approaching me with a laser charged.

Then I woke up feeling like my heart imploded.
