One I experimented with that wasn't terrible was:
4 Parts sprite (I'm sure other lemonade would work, I had sprite handy so it went in)
4 Parts Cointrue
2 parts absinth (I buy teichenne, have to be careful with absinth as some of them are shit)
+some ice. Was good, however I was drunk and haven't tried it since.

I have toyed with a varient of dry martini, lots of belvedere orange, bit of dry vermouth and a touch of 42 below (or whatever non-crap budget vodka you usually drink). Optional dash of lime. It's a fruity martini :)

One that sounds awful on paper but is very good is Texas Tea--it's half beer, half lemonade, and about 1/3 part vodka.
So wait, a great drink that is also a mathmatical annomally?
Ah, I see because that's more than...A 100%, It's like 4/3rds. Yes yes, that's clever.
In all seriousness, I'm assuming it's 1/3 beer, 1/3 lemonade, 1/3 vodka

No, I guess that isn't very clear when I read it back. I meant to use the part system where in this case both beer and lemonade would be one part and vodka would be a third of a part. It's booze; it doesn't have to add up to one.

I was just kidding, I caught your drift don't worry, I was being a smartass. In all seriousness though, how can anyone like beer in mixed drinks? I'll give it a try, but honestly sounds icky...

Flaming Dr. Pepper:

3/4 shot glass of amaretto
1/4 shot glass of everclear (poured on top with a spoon so it lights better)
Light everclear.
Drop whole thing in a half-pint of a cheap light beer (Keystone light works well) in a pint glass
Drink

Try not to fall over kids

Okay, so I'm a bit of a lightweight (Go die if there's something wrong with that...) and I like to drink a lot... So I mix things lightly. You may find yourself asking "Siuss, you horrific loser what is that fruity looking pink thing you're drinking?"

Well, I really don't have much of a name for it. (Help me out if you have a good idea!)

anyway, it's 2/3 Strawberry Soda, and 1/3 Vodka.

Stir together, don't shake fizzing drinks fellas...

Pour into a martini glass, and serve chilled, perhaps with a strawberry in it?

P.S. I really really love strawberries!

That was my initial reaction when I first saw my friend start to pour beer into a perfectly good pitcher of vodka lemonade. Then it was so good that I had quite a number of them, and the rest is a bit fuzzy.

I think it's also called Strip and Go Naked, which you very well might do after a night of them.

Does the beer act as just a fizzy, because I suppose the whole "Adding it to Vodka" thing pretty much destroys any hope of tasting beer. No?

This is due to my lack of finding an actual thread about drink recipies, so feel free to share ANY of yours, be they classic cocktails, mind-numbing new alcoholic creations , non-alcoholic drinks or just a multi-sensory romp. These can be as madcap and dangerous as you desire.

I'll start this ball rolling with one concucted on a school trip to morrocco (non-alcoholic)it was dubbed rocket fuel:

Take a half box of lucozade powder
Mix it into a half liter of coke
Add any brand of Energy Tablets (preferably a whole pack of crushed up lucozade ones)
shake untill its roughly the consistency of syrup.
For most faithfull results - Leave to heat in a backpack for 4 days in over 60 degree heat then leave it in a stream for 12 hours, then reheat.
For speed - 5 mins on high microwave, cool, then heat again to roughly body temperature.

Should cause you to see the edge of the universe
Enjoy
That shit sounds like a popular alternative to speed, the mental crap you kids are on these days, you're nuts!

I assume you will either die, or be bouncing off the walls for about a week. I'm tempted to try it either when I go on tour with my university team or when I have deadlines, but i'm sure I'll regret it.

I usually just prefer brandy and coke, or jager and coke, but if you need a recipe for buckets (a drinking game very useful for parties) I can get it for you, but it will have to be tomorrow, it's too late now and my housemate is probably sleeping.

Oh! I just remembered one:

Mexican Madras -

3.oz Cranberry Juice
0.5 oz. orange juice
1. oz. Gold Tequila
1 dash lime juice

There's nothing I hate more than casual drinking, but if there's a decent party going on, then i'm always down.
Popular? well it was between the 14 of us..... Please try it trust me! it will send you into a state of near comatose bliss, or you'll be running around like your head is on fire. Also we made a stronger concotion that physically hurt to pee out

Actually I have had it without the vodka and it's much better than any pre-made hard lemonade drink, but maybe that's just me. If you use strong enough lemonade (I recommend some natural kind with some pulp in it--no minute maid or whatever) it just tastes like deliciousness.

Maker's Mark Whisky + A glass = perfection!

Seriously though, Lynchburg Lemonade is lovely if you're patient enough to make one. I tend to buy mine over the bar.

1 part Jack Daniel's
1 part triple sec
1 part sour mix
4 parts lemon-lime soda

Chuck it over ice, beautiful.

Get your blender assuming you have one :)
Put in 2 scoops of Nutella, 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream and fill the blender half full with milk!
After that blend until you get a smooth consistency, and voilà there you have it :D

252: mix one shot of Bacardi 151 with one shot Wild Turkey 101. Be a man - don't chase it...unless you chase it with a shot of Everclear.

What's funny is that considering all the alcohol in it, the Wild Turkey actually dilutes the Bacardi. Either way, it has a real burn going down.

All the Old-school cocktails are the best. Dark'n'Stormy, Moscow Mule, Collinses, Gimlets. Put on a Yahtzee-hat and party like it's 1929.
